My family is a Potpourri of the elite Ghanaian Secondary Schools My Dad was in Mfantsipim, mum went to Wesley Girls. I was in in Presec-Legon, My wife attended HOLY CHILD SHS, my son was in St. AUGUSTINE'S whilse my Daughter attended ABURI GIRLS SHS.

Lily, we dont like to brag. We're the type of countrymen/people who don't like spreading our secrets for everyone to hear about it, but we choose to keep our good stuff to ourselves until our world finds out. And that's how you make people fall in love with you and not the making of too much unnecessary outside noises as some of your people have been doing for years and still doing..🤷🏾🤦‍♂️

Lily, any SHS you put here Ghanaians will appreciate you bcoz we love our SHS's everyone of them. Even the less privilege ones. We don't joke with any of these schools. Hi Lilly! Lifelong bonds are forged in these halls - interpersonal bonds and familial bonds. When an Achimota old student says Akora or old Prempeh student says Amanfo, believe you me, it means something. I’ve seen old boys take the monthly household budget of a sick old boy, assume his hospital bills and prescription. I’ve seen old boys raise enough to cover the burial and funeral expenses of an old boy and set up a trust fund to help finish the education of his children. And in America, these are not small bills. As far as helping with the maintenance and growth of the schools, they are our children now😂😂Heaven knows how many thousands of children , from all religions, rich and poor, cities and villages, have gone through the halls of Achimota, Mfantsipim, Wellesley Girls, Mfantsiman, Presec, Yaa Asantewah, Prempeh College , etc., etc. Those who built the schools made sacrifices, how could we do less? So, “For whom the bell tolls … It tolls for thee”.

Hey Sister Lily, you have a long way to go because Ghana has alot of good high schools. Please try and go to all the Regions. You can also show case the Teacher Training Colleges that have been converted into Educational Colleges. Nursing Schools, Technical Schools, polytechnics, and Schools for the deaf etc.

Lily.. you need to go back to Kwahu, where you found Rock City Hotel. That very town has the third best Shs in Ghana in terms of NSMQ awards, St Peter's Secondary School, Nkwatia-Kwahu. It remains the only school not sited in regional capital nor a district capital, to hv won the NSMQ. All other winners are in regional capitals.
