i love how he's not even subtle with his sleight of hand, at 0:38 he literally drops the ring into his other hand in Lud's face and no one saw a thing haha. the real power of magic is all about distraction. That, or Lud was just humoring him, but lets be real, can't give Ludwig that much credit lmfao

people should understand up close slight of hand magic becomes way less satisfying when you can rewatch, plause and slow it down as much as you like, though im not as much of a fan of instant stooging people like that

I think it's best to approach with a slightly different mindset. I still find this clip very satisfying, but it's not because I am fooled by the trick. It's because I appreciate how smooth he was and can be entertained by the reactions of the people who were tricked (even if I would miss it in person too)
