@@vaishnavisingh9244don’t worry bro, this game was my 1st ever tactical fps game on pc and when I tried it, let’s just say i was lucky to be bronze 1, 6 months later im gold 1 still climbing the ranks! Believe it or not there is a lot of difference between regions for example US golds are very different from Bahrain golds and that because I’ve played in both. So it was harder cuz Bahrain iron usually had more smurfs than normal. But still grinding!

dont be discouraged from trying though. if you have some higher rated friends that can help you improve, you'll climb really fast (don't just get boosted, get real tips and ask what you're doing wrong). valorant was my first game on KBM coming from cod/console gaming. i was iron for a short period, bronze-gold for a while, flew through plat and diamond, and have been stuck in ascendant for the last few acts. grinding to immortal this new act. best ways to improve are from watching vods from pros that play the agent/role that you play and copying their playstyle/habits on each map, watching videos from youtube coaches like konpeki, woohoojin, teets, and videos from the plethora of agent specific immortal content creators. there are plenty of amazing map analysists and agent guides out there. there's no rank criteria to using lineups and high level setups, but make sure you get your mechanics down. i personally like woohoojin videos the best as he has a playlist for each agent on whatever map you want and can find one where he's reviewing someone at your similar rank. he also has some mechanics-specific videos that will help a lot as well. the number 1 thing is consistent practice, if youre playing almost everyday, warming up in the range, and practicing crosshair placement in deathmatch, you WILL improve. aimlabs will speed things up as long as youre practicing the right way and not burning yourself out. just some tips if you feel like you don't know where to start to get better.

It's nuts that with just these few clips, you can see how much better she got. More confident to take fights, her aim is often on the head, the small flicks, decision-making, not panicking so easily, etc. It's not just that she climbed to gold, but that she improved to get there. I kind of read this entire video as a paean to everything that's wrong with being a streamer: you're forced to play games you don't like with people you don't like because "the meta" dictates that you must. The fact that you can eventually learn to like the suffering kinda makes it all worse, not better. And it's actually so sad because the entire reason why people get into streaming is 1) to forge connections with people, and 2) to have self-determination that they imagine they won't have working a 9-5. But then, after you've been doing it for a while, the real streaming blackpill strikes you: it turns out that you arguably have less freedom than a 9-5 worker who can just work from home. I can attest that a lot of the work-from-home crowd just play videogames throughout much of the day, anyway -- and they at least get to play the games they actually like, with people that they actually like, instead of being enslaved by some soulless algorithm somewhere. Maybe the real takeaway is that there is no true freedom as long as you have to earn your way in the world. You'll always be colonized by the hustle, until you can retire, at least (if you can).

This was truly the journey for many of us to experience. I'm glad you got to pull through this avalanche of self doubt, demote games, and team negativity to achieve your goal. Next stop is PLAT 1! YOU GOT THIS GOD'S GIFT!!!

great job getting to gold Lily! I've been getting into cs2 and I know the struggle when it's not a type of game you've played a lot, you handled the fps weirdos well :)

I really enjoyed your journey as a player. And, being you have other creative skill sets, which don't directly translate to valorant, it will be amazing to see you in Plat. And, I hope, one day I can be there too.
