A song about mixed signals...
HI GUYS!!! MY EP IS ALMOST OUT!!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!!! Isn't that sick?! This all feels very dream-like, I still can't believe it! I wrote this song back in August/September as something of a spiritual successor to Fool (which is featured on the EP as a remastered track and will be getting a new PV soon). The only thing that really links them together though is the fact that they both have big girl-fail energy, feature transitor organ *heavily*, and are based on things that happened to me. Funnily enough, this song, to me, has a much happier ending than Fool did.
It's always been a bucket list goal of mine to have at least one song with a REALLY good PV, so I decided to go for it with this one! Crispy is one of my favorite artists and video editors, so she was a no-brainer when it came to commissioning an artist! It was my first time commissioning ANYTHING and she was so so so welcoming and patient! Again, absolutely great work on her part! Go support her!

A very good song! I like the idea that zombie apocalypse could be a metaphor for social anxiety/agoraphobia. I feel like I haven't seen that connection before. The hopefulness at the end after she got bit because she realizes she's 'changing' is a really interesting way to think about healing.

That's SUCH a cool thing to point out, I didn't consider that at first but it makes so much sense. (Video spoilers) Everything outside is really scary and horrifying and everyone is threatening, so she stays inside and beats the zombies after her to death before anythint else. And then when she finds herself getting along with one that makes her "feel at ease" enough to drop her guard and weapon (after he bonds with her by doing something she likes to do!) he bites her, bringing her out of the cabin and making her a zombie, too.

actually i hate that this is all i could think of to say in this comment section so i'm gonna give an entirely unasked for reading on this song's meaning 👍🏻 to me this really feels like what goes through your mind just before and after a fallout or breakup with a friend or someone else close to you. the inability to recognize the inevitable split approaching despite it clearly approaching, the moment everything goes wrong, the initial rush of trying to point fingers to everyone around you, the panic overwhelming you as you realize that maybe *you* were the problem the whole time, still trying to find fault in others even after finding it in yourself because your own faults are too painful to bear, and ultimately the resigned acceptance that things will never be the same again regardless of who is to blame despite the kind of playful and upbeat tune, the song gives me the same deep feelings of bitterness, regret, longing, and resignation that come with a bitter break. i'm probably reading too much into it but i would rather read too much into things than too little lol

i think the more i listen to this song the more i relate to it. which is.. it's sad, but it fills me with this weird sense of hope?? like, the lyrics resonate with how aimless i've been feeling, but the instrumentals resonate with this little hopeful feeling in me. this song makes me feel like i'm going to be okay even if i'm not right now. listening to this on loop isn't enough i need to inject this song into my veins

This is what social anxiety feels like to me. I lock myself away from the world as though I'm in an apocalypse and find comfort in the small things I can find indoors. It's a very boring and unfulfilling life, but I'd take boring over being eaten alive (or at least the fear of talking to people and messing up and being absolutely humiliated)

Wow this song is a really good metaphor. The lyrics really capture the feeling of realizing that you’re gay or trans, then looking back and seeing all the signs in the past, and learning to love yourself in the midst of your old identity falling apart around you. The zombie PV also sells that the singer has been actively suppressing the feelings for a long time, literally beating back the thoughts every night. Or maybe I’m looking too much into it and it’s just a funny little zombie song 😂. Either way, this is a jam that I’m going to listen to for a while, and you should be proud.

I LOVE the music video. I might be overanalyzing a silly zombie story, but i want to. To me it's someone closing themselves off from the world and people. Even though everyone is fighting to reach out and help she tries to sabotage it. In a moment of vulnerability she opens up and gets BITTEN, but maybe its better to have the risk of being hurt instead of pure isolation. Everyone else looks sick and strange for being social and vulnerable, but maybe its you (teto) who was actually sick. GET BITTEN!

I like the fact that the MV includes the other Vocaloids/Utauloids like Yowane Haku, Ruko, Meiko, etc. I wonder, is the one who bit Teto Kaito? I want to say Defoko was the one who chased Teto up a tree, so can anybody clarify? Other than that, I love this song- it is SEVERELY underrated. Hope to see more of your work!

ok some details i noticed about the mv after looping because this is my fav teto song ever, sorry if they are obvious 0:31 she is hiding in a camp house 0:21 its week 11* that she has been surviving like this???? or since the camp started? -> *looking at the supply box she got at the beginning - has some canned beans 0:16 some tomatos, soda/alcohol?? oranges?? in the shelf, maybe empty? 0:52 the other vocaloids are zombies too! miku, len, maybe they were all in the camp but the first zombie broke out there and teto was the only one to avoid it (since the camp house is destroyed and covered in blood 1:15 and its surroundings too) the backgrounds change (1:21) shes trying to survive but the zombies make it impossible for her to avoid bumping into them,,, -> since it looks like fabric, the circle reminds me of a scout badge?? 1:43 rin D: and luka in the back i thought the purple zombie friend's long sleeve pattern looks somewhat like her right sock 2:52 the steam from their tea makes a heart 3:26 luka absolutely jammin out, len is also in roof, pigtails is ruko? right is meiko? ill add more as i keet rewatching mwahaha mwahahahh

An unfairly underrated song! I love the tuning and the beat, and also the detail that the zombies are different utaus and vocaloids - at 0:51, there's miku, len (?) and someone purple, whom I assume is gakupo not sure who 1:22 is 1:32 is probably gumi 1:37 vflower? 1:38 rin 1:50 luka (?) in the back 2:06 - 2:56 vflower makes a reappearance 3:26 - len (?) and luka on the roof, i don't remember her name of white haired one utane piko, no clue who purple person is, and meiko overall, amazing song 10/10
