With a population of 94,192 at the 2016 census,Limerick is the third-most populous urban area in the state, and the fourth-most populous city on the island of Ireland at the 2011 census. The city lies on the River Shannon, with the historic core of the city located on King's Island, which is bounded by the Shannon and Abbey Rivers. Limerick is also located at the head of the Shannon Estuary, where the river widens before it flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Limerick City and County Council is the local authority for the city. Someday, I wish I'm going this city. for me this is the best spot travel. cozy, very nice ambiance, it's like walking as far as you want to go. maybe because the best singer who is my idol lives here. none other than Dolores Riordon.

I’m a Dub in love with Limerick city.. My favourite place in Ireland. Sadly the pandemic has kept me out of Limerick but I’m sure I’ll see it again someday ❤️

I was hoping I would too!. Although I’m a Dub I’ve precious memories of times spent in Limerick, my favourite town in all of Ireland

This isn't the Limerick of my 20's and you are better for it but a Starbucks lads?1 Haha! I spent my whole 20's in Limerick (uni for 7 months at home own in Perth for 5 years) and in our village 20 mins away let's say during 1992-2004. Of course I miss Bewley's and watching the lovely girl making my cappuccino by adding foaming powder then mixing it madly. It was the hightlight of morning!!
