This week we start the renovation of our primary bedroom! In this video we show you how we limewash the wall, wire two pendants from the ceiling, and add curtains to finish off the look. This accent wall completely transformed the space. Let us know what you think!

I would go for the Long one. The warm light that hits the bed looks better then when it Just hits the wall

Besides the stuff you guys are doing being suoer cool ppl., have NO idea how challenging it can be to make content relayi g the story. The blooper was funny but, more importantly showed how much thought goes into the simplest edits. Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!

The longer one looks great, I think it gives it a cool, low look. My only concern would be hitting your head against it if you get up in the middle of the night, but if that's not a problem definitely go for the longer one!

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought the same about possibly hitting my head so I thought shorter was better. But we may change it back in the future

It blends better by using criss-cross strokes.

It’s sped up a bit so it’s hard to tell but we did use the cross cross method. It’s just hard to do that up against the edges of the wall

What is the draw to the lime wash? It looks slightly different than regular wall paint but is much more work and looks to costs more. I’m a touch older than you two but just can’t figure out the allure.

It gives a textured look without going over the top.

It’s roughly the same amount of work but does cost a bit more. As @alabama_pinball said, it adds texture to wall without creating actual three dimensional texture. It’s looks much better in person

too many videos on final finishing. Let's see some videos on major changes like an attic renovation (new insulation), upgraded kitchen, etc

We have plans to renovate a family room, kitchen, and 2 bathrooms but we are saving up for those larger projects and it’s just us doing the work so it takes time. We’re going as fast as we can haha!
