Nice video, i solved this a different way: First split tan(12x)=sin(12x)/cos(12x) Use the double angle identity for sin twice to cancel sin(3x) Then plug zero to get 4

Sweet. I approached this problem from a different angle though, pardon the pun. tan(12x)/sin(3x) = sin(12x)/[sin(3)cos(12x)] = 2sin(6x)cos(6x)/[sin(3x)cos(12x)] = 4sin(3x)cos(3x)cos(6x)/[sin(3x)cos(12x)] = 4cos(3x)cos(6x)/cos(12x) --> 4 as x tends toward zero. ◼

6:15 I did not want to do that. I wanted to get rid of sin(3x) at the bottom. Since 12x=4*3x and I remember that sin(2a)=2sina.cosa we have sin12x = 2sin6x.cos6x=2.2.sin3x.cos3x.cos6x. Now both sin3x cancels and we can plug 0s. all cos turns to 1 leaving only 4*1*1/1 =4

Here's the way I approch: tanx is equivalent to x when x approaches 0 sinx is equivalent to x when x approaches 0 which means when x approaches 0, tan12x is equivalent to 12x and sin3x is equivalent to 3x which gives 4 the answer.

For small values of x sin x will be equal to tan x and also sin x will be equal to x. So for small values of x you get 12x/3x=4. Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱.
