I think at this point I have 9 ML1 models. All from the South Korea, contoured heal, natural back era. 3 Ash and the rest are sapele. I use them live all of the time. Why so many? When the new line came out I think I had 4 of the Sapele and I've learned that if you love something and it stops being made, get more. I also have 3 ML3 from the same time frame. 2 natural and one black. It's what I want in an arch top guitar. 25.5 scale, fixed bridge and bolt on neck. I'll grab that over my LP every time. Just personal preference. But the ML1s that I have are some of my favorite guitars. The neck is great. They're all the same but one ash model has a super thick neck. Still good. Just different. I want the satin finish that all of those guitars have. It feels better to me and it wears over time. I always loved the look of guitars that aren't relics but naturally worn like Nuno's guitar snd Reb Beach's original Suhr. Mine are getting there.

I love the look, now if it was available left handed, and i was not piss poor broke, and if it had a original floyd rose tremolo, dimarzio super 3 (Bridge) 2 dimarzio fast track 2 (Neck and Middle) 24 fret stainless steel frets with the same satin natural on the back and sides with black body and neck binding binding, metal dome knobs, mini switches for coil split for all three pickups, 1 volume and 2 tone control, sperzel locking tuners, with the floyd rose locking nut, with FU Tone upgrades, Shielded electronics and pickup cavities, Mix black/Gold hardware Basically black floyd rose with a mix of gold parts, same with tuners. This would replace my prized first true great guitar 1990 Left handed Charvel Model 475 which i have the same pickups in but not coil split. but right now trying to save up to get a new vehicle so i can take my elderly brother who i take care of, to his doctors appointments, etc. No i am not selling any of my current guitars to get new ones because i will not be those who later go damn i wish i never sold that guitar or whatever it was. Nope these guitars will be buried with me when i die LOL. Being left handed you have to be more careful and more cautious with your instruments. being right handed you can go to any pawn shop, any music store and basically pick and choose, not every music store has left handed instruments, in the small city i live near by Lima, Ohio currently has no music stores, closest is Sweetwater in fort wayne indiana, Also when Lima did have a Music store they Barely Had any left handed models, except for ones traded in or special orderd. I got my charvel from a music store that stopped selling guitars, amps and stock with band instrument sells. I bought it in 1990. I had to special order it. I take care of it like my baby. But yeah if i had the cash i and it was available left handed i would have bought one. I like it because it reminds me of your ML-1 you had the top removed to look similar I believe. By the way how i discovered Chapman guitars was way back in my youtube recommendations was a video of chapman guitar review done by a youtuber named Robert Baker where he was reviewing his chapman guitars at the time one of which was the hot rod ml-1 i believe it was called. So then i got recommendations of your channel then Andertons channel and ive been watching ever since i know it at least had to be back before 2017, but that is how i got into and interested in Chapman guitars. thought you should know
