Yea you’re right for sure I like to have 2 sheets of foil with me. It takes up next to no room and it does have piles of uses. I like making the cup out of it. That can be used to boil water in and cook in.

Yea you’re right for sure! It makes for a great supplement but not an end all do all. I get more concerned about shelter and fire where I live especially during the winter months. That’s number one to me. You’re definitely right about the one to two night thing. Where I live for the most part I will find a road before a day or two. I wasn’t sure weather it was the MK, the Mark, or the Mach so I just picked one and went with it! Thanks for the comment and view I appreciate it!!

Yea this kit used to be super available everywhere for a good price now it has mostly disappeared but honestly all bouillon cubes are is broth. 1 cube and one cup of water makes a cup of beef or chicken broth. Maybe it has some kind of preservatives in the cubes that disagrees with you. Thanks for the view and the sub I really appreciate it! I’m going to test these kits outside eventually outdoors!

Absolutely these kits are basically a supplement or last ditch supplies for people that know what they are doing in the woods I would never recommend someone getting lost with only this kit. If your skill set is good enough you can survive a cold night in the woods with a good shelter and a fire. I would recommend everyone get out and get some experience not in a survival situation. These kits do give people an idea of some items to make pocketable kit that can help them through a rough night lost in the woods with their skill set. I think a lot of people just running out into the woods for a quick hike are not going to take a 72 hour hiking backpack loaded with gear but a small kit like this will fit into a cargo shorts pocket and off you go. As I always say I would keep the kit more oriented with fire, water procurement, and shelter aspects before I added a fishing kit or snare wires. As I said before though I would rather have this in my pocket than nothing at all. Snare wire can be used to construct a shelter or fixed a broken pack strap. Fishing line can be used for sewing cloths or hanging things up. You don’t have to be an experienced survival master to know how to put something together with some wire . I’ve even been bored before and just used the little fishing kits to tie to a branch and toss a line in the water to try to catch panfish when I don’t have a rod. This works as a LDK or a supplement to a larger kit

@@whitetailsurvival2430 I agree with you on all of that. why I said these were dangerous is places like wal-mart, and Amazon are selling these to complete neubs, and giving them the false sense of "survival" much like in the '70s when teens were going to see Chuck Norris movies, then going to their friends, and thinking that made them a black belt. my 10 "C"s plus video has a 6lb bag, with everything that you should carry, plus quite a bit extra. including over 1lb of "boo boo" kit lvl first aid stuff. and that is including 40 oz of water in a stainless bottle, with nesting cup and a water filter. I don't mean to seem like I am attacking your video, it's just that so many of these kits have come out , and last week someone I know told me they bought a Cooglan's kit, so they didn need help putting together a kit before they went to half dome next week. as someone with 50 years in the woods, 10 in the U.S. ARMY jumping out of planes. and a lot of actual life and death time in jungles. this makes me very afraid for them

@@OtherThanIntendedPurpose your definitely correct in that aspect! People new to the outdoors should not be going out there with a kit like this to try to survive. They should have a crazy 20 lb kit with all the luxuries. People don’t realize how difficult a Ferro rod is to use for the first time. If you’ve never tried it before. Yes it’s definitely a company’s way to skimp out of tossing in a small decent folder. They charge a good bit for these I don’t think it would hurt to toss a small crkt knife or Keshaw in the price is low and the quality it’s good for most of their knives

I think part of the problem is shipping internationally. Knife laws vary from place to place. Italy is especially strict on blade length.
