Let's be frank. Adele comes a very close second on the cringe scale.

Some friends and I met Corden when we were teenagers. We were pretty big fans of Withnail and I, and one of our parents very kindly bought us tickets to see the History Boys with Richard Griffiths in. After the show we went around to the stage door with the hope of meeting Monty but with no luck. Instead a young Corden came out and after asking who we were there to see said "you should ask him loads of questions about Withnail and I, he loves that" clearly as an act of trying to get us to wind up Griffiths and make us seem foolish in the process. I've thought he was a c**t ever since, cos only a c**t would tell a couple of young teenagers to do something like that.
