I don't understand how people don't realise, although a famous person to you is VERY familiar, for them you are a complete stranger so you have to understand how weird and uncomfortable it is for them having to talk to complete strangers all the time.

Had a wee faux pas when I met Limmy after one of his shows in Manchester. I was in a hotel for the night and noticed on Twitter he had posted a photo of his hotel view and we had the same view. Don’t know what I was thinking but when I got my book signed by him and we had a wee chat and a photo I was like “so we’re staying in the same hotel” fuck knows what I was thinking like maybe we’d hang out as mates after or some shite. He heard what I said and just ignored it. Rightly so. I was thinking fuck why did I say that.
