Yep he's getting older his strength is probably weaker as he is stronger in his younger age.

I can understand bro he's getting old I'm a big fan of him since 2003-2004, till today. Although, I'm a basketball player and footballer ever since I started watching him game since I was 10 years old in 2004. Today I have with me votric z force 1 and 2 rackets as well with his logo on the strings, shoes, the huge bag, t-shirts water bottles etc I mean everything as much as I love Federer.

He started playing control games long before 2017, the main frustration here is his unforced errors...the opponent gets points basically on his errors. I support LD as always he is definitly the GOAT but the Chinese national team gotta give other good young players more chances(not talking about Chen Long or Shiyu Qi, they both at peak but close to 30 now).

Technically, Lin Dan is the best badminton player ever but yes because of his age too he's nearing 40 as well. Look at his prime videos plays. Momota ,Axelson and Anthony Ginting . No one nears Lin Dan those days he was fast and frenzy. And amongst single players till today he has the smoothest dives and still can do it in his late 30's. By the way being inhis late 30's he was the runner's up for all England 2018. Just that the power, stamina and speed has gone. But, in terms of swift and smooth play he's the best. I would have liked to see him winning the 2020 Olympics as he has announced that it will be last to have a happy ending but due to the current pandemic crisis no days announced yet.
