No player could ever drop a racket right in the middle of a rally, taking his eye off the opponen's shot for a moment, recover the racket to return the shot and then went on to win the rally under a tournament match condition, not practice.

Lin Dan is the greatest of all time by all accounts, but Taufik will always be my favorite.

Taufik Hidayat has a great character. He is calm,relax and cool and charismatic. For technical, he has no doubt. Because his personality he deserves became the true champion. He is the true champion, no doubt. For physical problem, indeed after 2007 he is turn down..

Taufik Hidayat prime is 1999-2007, on his prime the head to head between him and LD and LCW is 3-2, and 7-2. LD prime is 2008-2014. Unfortunetly Taufik still play until 2013 he retired. If seper series era begin earlier i think Taufik could achieve alot of achievement than anybody. Fortunetly, super series era begin in LD and LCW prime, thats why both of them won so many trophy. For example, In TH prime, WC held every 3 and then 2 years, but since 2007 WC held every year 😆

My two favorite player! Lin Dan and Taufik, i love their style. Lin Dan with his stamina and power, and Taufik with his backhand and smooth play.

Taufik is effortlessly badminton player, so many controversy in his personal life... but still he is the best as a natural badminton player ever. I think the desperation backhand clear by Taufik during the altercation that starts at 19:56 is one of the most crazy backhand shots. Totally out of position and outplayed he clears it to the other backline... how is this even possible, CRAZY

Always seemed to me like Taufik just lacks motivation(no fighting spirit) and doesn't really have a game plan while playing. He is very talented though. Lin Dan on the other hand is the real deal. Maybe not as skilled or physically impressive as Taufik but Lin Dan has a constant and strong fighting spirit and all his rallies seem to be calculated. I've watched hundreds of these videos as my reference, and play myself as well.

Just goes to show how Good Lin Dan is in this generation. Taufik is a incredible player also but he's getting old and he is physically unable where is Lin Dan trains a lot more than Taufik. His movement is clean and crisp and very quick from side to side. Chinese have dominated the sport now for some time.
