The NFL Draft is over, and it's time for the Bears to dial in on making a smooth transition to new quarterback Caleb Williams. In this episode, David Haugh and Dan Wiederer hear from an important voice who can help everyone know more about Williams: USC coach Lincoln Riley, who guided Williams in college. Riley recently spoke with the Chicago media about Williams' experience at Oklahoma before his transfer to USC. Riley also discussed how Williams handled his final season at USC, which didn't go the way Williams wanted. The guys also hear from NFL Draft analyst Joe Klatt, who broke down Williams as a prospect. #CalebWilliams #LincolnRiley #Bears #NFL

The media actually set Jaylon Johnson up with the Hollywood incident. The interviewer actually kept mentioning the Hollywood stuff over and over again until he repeated it a couple of times in a hypothetical sense. Then the nedia latched on and made it seem like he was calling Caleb Hollywood A full set up. No one played the interviewee saying it.I happened to watch the entire interview. TYPICAL MEDIA STRATEGY

Exactly! I was about to write the same thing. Anyone who seen the whole video knew exactly what Jaylon really said. Then Wiederer saying people were saying that the players would have a hard time moving on from Fields, most of that came from the media. Players see guys get traded all the time so they always use to new guys who come in. Media always act like they ain't to blame for anything smh lol.

Agree 100%. From politics to sports to warfare corporate media is not the friend of the Western Civilization. It’s a propaganda arm for the entrenched establishment that manufactures consent.

In Kay Adams defense she’s already put locally come out and say that people were taking her words out of context and this was weeks ago. It’s funny that you say media when the most I’ve seen the Hollywood sentiment repeated is on random peoples Twitter pages arguing about Caleb. Honestly the only big place I’ve seen the Hollywood thing was on Emmanuel acho and joy Taylor’s show

You'd better rewatch the interview, & maybe get some assistance to understand exactly what she implied, versus what Johnson SAID. She didn't put a gun to his head. No one forced Johnson to say what he did & there was no manipulation behind it; It was completely of his own accord, & instead of taking responsibility for it, he decided to throw Kay Adams under the bus & use her as a scapegoat. This was yet another typical situation where the responsible party acted like a child caught with its hand in the cookie jar, instead of being an adult. The media didn't "set up" or "misinterpret". Johnson said it, then tried to walk back his comments, PERIOD.

I was not a Caleb Williams fan .. but the kid is growing on me fast. .. i was also on the side that JF was not a Quarterback.. his skillset was not as a Quarterback.. it was as an ATHLETE… i think CW is more of a Quarterback.. As a Bears fan.. i hope he gives me the next 18 years where we never have to draft a Quarterback again. I want my “Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Pat Mahomes, Etc.”

Caleb has a ELITE Ceiling potential... "C Dub" or Caleb Williams has a chance to cement his name in City lore ... up there with the likes of Walter Payton and Michael Jordan... Caleb and Rome can easily break Bears longtime records during their rookie contracts... Most Career: Pass/Receive Yards/TDs Most Rookie: Yds Pass/Rec/TDs In a season: Yds Pass/Rec/TDs Then add all of the above records for a Tandem... ⬆️ All Chicago Bears records & could break some Division, NFC & NFL records as well.

Best use of draft capital in NFL history. 5 Probowlers! CW,Allen, Rome, Sweat,Tory Taylor, + starting Safety Byard, + Swing Tackle Kiran A, + Pass Rush specialist Booker. Who did better? WHO? WHO DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!! Now add upgrade in RB Swift + #2 TE in Everett. thats 7 starters and 3 regular contributors. When has a team that should have won 11 games added 10 starting caliber players the next year without losing anyone meaningful?

Let's talk "Strength of Schedule!" Bears 3rd easiest!!! Packers at 29, Lions at 21 and Vikings at 19! The Analytics indicate that the Bears, should thrive on that alone, even if they had the 2023 personnel! But now, with all the additions such as Williams, Odunze, Allen, Everett and Swift, the Bears will be scary and will take the North

I respectfully disagree with you that Justin Fields is not a QB butnan athlete..Did you watch him play in High School and College?? He was dealt a bad hand in the NFL..Bad team, inproper development, bad offensive line and lack of weapons..He ran more in the pros than he did in college because of horrible offensive line playi..How did DJ Moore have a career high in reception yards at over 1300 yards catching passes from an athlete??? The Bears locker room would not have beem firmly behind Justin staying on the team ifvhe was just an athlete..Team leaders, offense and defense

I'll tell you how. Besides the fact that some of those yards came from another quarterback, He didn't look at or throw to the other receivers besides Kmet. Of course his stats would be great.

Last year fields had everything he needed to succeed. He had a top 10 receiver and tight end. Offensive line was average. And he had what turned out to be a top 5 defense down the stretch. I was a big Justin fan, but if you watch the tape. He is not consistent playing QB. Poles gave him a shot and he wasn’t good enough.

Not in the new NFL. This is objectively false; look at the stats. You need to score at least 24 points on avg in today’s game. Furthermore, the league rules themselves are biased as such to encourage more offense & explosive plays. Defense of course matters in the playoffs, but offense is more important
