A truly underappreciated talent! You hear her when you hear Tina Marie. You hear her in the crop of today's singers that do all the vocal gymnastics. Linda Jones was an innovator! Nobody else in 60's R&B was doing the things she was doing. RIP.

This is a favorite of mine by Linda Jones as well as "Give My Love a Try," and "What Have I Done." She was such a unique innovator in vocal styling way ahead of her time. Very underrated!! Such a tragic loss for the music world at such a young age!! And I don't know who the backing vocalists are, but they are EXCELLENT!! Superb timing and harmonic blend. Their sound complements her vocals perfectly!!
