We all know that this had a lot of influence on Haruhi Suzumiya's "Live Alive", but that's not all! The animation cut that is almost identical (Haruhi turning to her bandmates compared to Song doing the same) is made by Naoko Yamada, which will direct K-On! in 2009. Truly, an amazing and influential movie

How are they pronouncing the L sound in “Linda” ? I thought they couldn’t pronounce it as there was no such sound in Japanese language (L is pronounced as R)

That's not quite right. Basically, Japanese has neither L nor R. There are syllables that are transcribed as starting with "r" (ra, ri, ru, re, ro), but the actual pronunciation is a mix of L and R, tending to L. In general, syllables starting with L are easier to pronounce for Japanese than those starting with R.
