They’re definitely “selling it”. This was actually performed at the Grammy awards and they won it for this song. Aaron was so nervous during the acceptance speech that he forgot to thank his wife until Linda nudged him and reminded him. It was very cute. The affection displayed between them was strictly friendly and professional, not romantic. The producers told them to make it look real and they did. I agree with you that Linda has the voice of an angel. Nice reaction 🎄🌺✌️

Partners in song, not in life. No question there's affection between them, they partnered on a couple of songs for her album Cry Like A Rainstorm, Howl Like The Wind, and the vocal chemistry is fire.

They were not a couple. They were and still are very good friends. Linda always calmed him down because he was nervous on stage. They have other duos. Aaron Neville is a musical treasure and has many albums with his brothers, The Neville Brothers, and solo music🎶🎵🎶

Just so you know they were not a couple he had a wife at the time and there was nothing going on between the two of them other than she worships the ground he walked on musically

Did you know that Linda lost her voice? She can't sing anymore. Watch her life story. She is amazing. She went to school with my sister.

Linda and Aaron sang beautifully together but they never were and never have been a couple. In fact this performance was at the 1989 Grammys where they won a Grammy for that song. During their acceptance speech, Aaron was nervous, being a shy man, and thanked Linda. Linda then whispered in his ear and he then said “and my wife.” She and the whole audience laughed as there were unfortunate rumors going around at the time that they were a couple. But again they never were.

Aaron's sound, that high, heavy vibrato, is a pure New Orleans sound. Very regional & is the absolute master of it.

One of the most beautiful duets. Both have fabulous voices. Check out some more of Linda Ronstadt music. She is one of the best female singers & can sing any genre from ballads to country to rock. She has had so many hits such as "Blue Bayou", "You're No Good", "Long Long Time", "Poor Poor Pitiful Me", "Desperado" etc. The Eagles were her backing band till they went out on their own & she has covered a lot of their songs.

Neville has such a unique voice and he is there to sing. Also, his presence does not belie the voice.

On that night, Linda Ronstadt was the most beautiful woman in the world. So talented and stunningly gorgeous!

It is interesting that you said that Linda sounded like an angel because in interviews Linda says it is Aaron that sings like an angel. But one thing that is for sure is they both have such respect for each other. It is just beautiful.

I love that the crowd cannot contain it's applause at Aaron's unique voice, LOVE his voice, and Linda is one of my favorites of ALL time.

They won a Grammy for this in 1990 and then again in 1991 for “All My Life”. She did a duet with James Ingraham and made another beautiful song 🎶

Oh my... Where to start with her? I guess by saying, without any reservation, that she is an American national treasure... And by saying so, is still an understatement.
