PART.2
A very deep, touching and intense interview given by Linda Thompson to Larry King, back in 2002. You don't wanna miss it!
Linda is so self confident and so "herself"... she doesn't try to pretend to be something that she isn't or never was in her life. I truly trust on whatever she says, as if she was my best girlfriend at High Shool - kind of! LOL!

there are so many people who talk about Elvis in a derogatory manner.............. Linda however is always sweet and kind and makes sure Elvis is remembered the way he should be - always in a positive light, no matter what goes on in a relationship or what happened years ago - (when fault is always on both sides) Linda stays true to his memory - for that i am eternally grateful, as i will defend Elvis till the end of my life......... thankyou Linda and i love you Elvis xxx

What struck me, in the way she talks about him, is the love and the warmth she expresses, it's tangible...and that Elvis was a big giver both as a person as in material goods. That is something I have heard a few times people say that about him. Maybe it's because he knew so well what it's like to be poor, in his younger years.

I read her as-told-to book and some parts were really funny, unintentionally of course. Just from memory, he shot his TV in the bedroom, as usual, when he didn't like what was on. Linda was in the bathroom, the bullet went through the wall and almost hit her. "Elvis, that's not acceptable," she simpered, or something like that. In a way she was like Barbara Sinatra, coping with a rich lunatic, telling herself and others it was love.

@@jamesfreeman2258 Get real y'all, he was human being, I guess sometimes he just couldn't resist some of the women that were always throwing themselves at him. Therefore, I think he'd lie about those things sometimes to protect the other person's rep, and because he felt it was his life to live the way he wanted, and that he wasn't married so he was going to do what he felt like doing. And I do believe he would have lied to protect his privacy, and because he didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. This is my opinion, you might totally disagree.
