Hey, no, i have no jackplate, no fine tunning on the transom. However, I found that the perfect adjustment is to set the outboard on the second hole (bracket) then, tilted in the middle / second position (so lift it up, as for shallow water, but only one position, don't go full) The outboard should make a 90degree angle with the water when you're sliding at full speed.

Doesn't sound normal to me. Each boat is different, was designed differently, so I guess we can't compare the outboard performance on 2 completely different boats. But maybe some minor adjustments will help you reach a higher speed.

The boat was equipped with it as standard. I guess all Linder Sportsman 400 come with a ladder on the left side.

Ma bucur, sigur ai ales bine. N-am testat ELH, insa cu siguranta e mai ieftin la intretinere fata de generatia pe injectie, poate si mai rezistent.

@@logoutchannel523 Scuze din graba am scris ELH dar este MLH nou, 2019. Acelasi motor pe injectie doar ca are pornire manuala.Daca tot am intrat in discutie imi permit o intrebare. La montarea motorului pe oglinda ai facut ceva modificari sau l-ai prins direct? Am observat ca la strangerea menghinei motorul nu prea ''pica'' bine in partea de sus a oglinzii, cum ar trebui sa se aseze natural un motor. Repet, barca noua, motor nou.

@@iosifdragos4210 eu l-am prins in suruburi, (2) apoi am strans si fluturii. Fiind barca de aluminiu, usoara, vibratiile vor fi puternice si fluturii se vor slabi in mers. Fa un lucru bun si prinde 2 suruburi. Le poti pune la A/N, banuiesc ca de acolo ai luat-o. Si da, motorul se sprijina pe partea de sus a oglinzii, dar suruburile il pozitioneaza intr-un unghi putin diferit. Discuta totusi cu cel care fixeaza motorul, sa fie 2-3 cm mai ridicat, linia chilei nu e perfect armonizata cu inaltimea cizmei.

@@logoutchannel523 Multumesc pentru info, da intradevar de la AN e cumparat ansamblul. Voi discuta la prima revizie a motorului toate aspectele. Am suruburile originale care au venit cu motorul si cu siguranta voi face si eu aceasta operatie. Inca o data multumesc! In acelasi timp am comandat si o protectie oglinda cu corectie de unghi, neprobata inca, poate aduce imbunatatiri...Mai sunt multe de facut, deocamdata sunt in cautare de solutii pentru conceperea/pozitionarea unui suport sonda sonar etc.

You can go better than that. It depends on the total weight of the boat, propeller and outboard position. With 20hp, you can go as high as 50km/h. I'd suggest a 3 blade aluminium 11pitch prop. The outboard should also be perfectly aligned to match the boat requirements, then, of course, it' s important to control the total weight of the boat.

It's the stock propeller, nothing tuned :)

LogOut Channel I have the same engine model, 15 hp, 9-pitch propeller and only catches 35km / h

@@m.r315 although they share the same chassis, it looks like the 20hp is a bit more powerful than specified, and the 15hp is also a bit overrated in terms of power. There are some comparison clips on KZfaq. The 20hp comes with 10 or 11 pitch prop.

@@m.r315 weird mate im getting 32 kmh with 8 hp and 4 meter boat, must be something wrong, are outboard too deep maybe or boat too heavy
