Did a harvesting of this plant on my mother in law's backyard. This and hydrocotyle leucocephala grow as weed where I live in Southern Brazil.

Hey Joel, just want to drop a note to compliment the thumbnails you've been creating for your videos these last couple of months, especially on the species videos. They are visually stunning (great plant pics and composition) and the titles really pop. Nice work! I know it's a small thing that most people probably overlook but I appreciate the craftmanship involved...

I had the non-variegated version of this a while back. It was an awesome plant! Like you said, Lindernia really is an easy to keep plant. I think I had it growing no matter what condition I gave it. Also, Liquid Creations is what I use to get plants too! He's usually got rare plants that you can't find anywhere else! Decently priced too!

I also grew this same variegated variety of this years ago in my paludarium both submerged and emersed. I've been trying to remember the name of it for a while now then I just randomly saw this video! Man I wish I could trade plants with you, I know you're local to me lol

That's a pretty cool stem. I wish it was more available. I'd love to fill in a spot on one end of my 180 with something like it. Sadly I don't think it would love my liquid rock (GH/KH 12-14) and lack of CO2.

My water is also liquid rock, and my lindernia doesn't care in the slightest.

Well, thank you very much! I thought I have bacopa monnieri and now - I don't know! 🤯 They look alike so much (to me). Could you please give us some bacopa vs lindernia insights? So I havea love hate relationship with this plant. It's easy, it's bright, it grows fast. That's the good. It also grows so many roots that I can't trim it properly and it never roots properly. Any tiny pull will uproot month old plants that are growing well. Any tips?

Crepidomanes..A challenge!.. I throw down the gauntlet! There are two in the hobby,both species incredibly hard to find. AKA Taiwan Fern. Steinhart aquarium has some with Gouramis and I don't see any special care..but its a righteous looking plant that looks just like you dunked a Boston Fern,or for you Seattle, A forest swordfern under water. With moss- you can't beat the underwater garden look. There is a Facebook aquatic fern guy..just google Crepidomanes and he comes up in the search somewhere.

I'm just asking which crepidomanes species are you talking about because the only one I know is crepidomanes malabarica and it's very common and cheap because I live near it's habitat and I didn't know that was a rare plant that I kept on finding in streams near my house

@@aneethasalim5814 C.malabaricum is the Taiwan Fern,but other species are out there,but seem to be much smaller. They are all expensive rarely sold plants. Most are only sold to Europe and the few I saw for sale (and out of stock!) were $30 for tiny pieces. Talk to Covus about importing them to Co-op. They have the license and connections for phyla certificates and legal things. They say it's easy to grow..even with no Co2. Probably like Bolbitis in care,but even more more fern like.

Wait 30$ really it's that expensive for a small patch of filmy fern at most they will charge three dollars for it here and if you want to know how they normally live in thier natural habitat I'll tell you what I observed.i mostly found them on the surface of overhangs with lagenandra species and riccia species they grew in very mats along the rocks and preferred a wet environment rather than being fully submerged because they had more access to ambient CO2 they could grow from low to high light. I took a small patch home and trying propagate it

@@StanTheObserver-lo8rx it's doest look like a fern more mossy looking than a fern the ones that I have observed
