Personally I think Danielle is more taken back that Lindsey for once is happy and she’s not used to that. I think Danielle is the type of friend who will be there for you when you’re unhappy but is unhappy when you’re growing and being happy. She needs to grow up. Linds and Carl did date in the past , they grew as great friends. They also are both in their 30s , if they want to move “fast” that’s their choice but don’t talk consistently about moving too fast if you can’t provide details as to why you’re worried about them both.

I wish Carl did a better job of explaining how he did in fact stick up for lindsay in that conversation. I understand why linsday was pissed given the information she was given. sounded like carl only wanted to make sure danielle didn't fault him for their rift but there was more to it than that in their conversation.

Yes the root of the issue is that she misses her friend, but she is absolutely going about it in the most immature way. If you need help, you ask for it, you can’t expect someone to read your mind. And she needs to understand that she should voice her opinion about the relationship ONCE and then let it go for the sake of the friendship…. She’s too involved it’s exhausting 🥱

It kinda seems like if Lindsey isn’t complains about something like her relationship or whatever there’s no need for Danielle? Now Danielle has a world to complain about and Lindsay is too happy to be bothered? It’s sad but that’s how friendships can be. They’re also in their 30s dated before and grew as friends. This isn’t like 21 year first started dating barely know each other type of love. They literally have known eachother for years saw eachother at their worst also dated in the past. Now they both grew as adults, it’s different. Also Danielle keeps saying they are moving too fast but provide examples and if she denies let it go. You can’t force your friend to agree with you on their relationships

Wow, Danielle just literally gloats when Carl and Lindsay argue. It’s so hard to believe that Danielle doesn’t see that she’s trying to put doubts in both Lindsay and Carl’s minds. She always seems to be the odd man out, she doesn’t know where to fit in with the crowd, so all the frustration and anger falls on Lindsay. And then, when Carl was talking to Danielle, first, she said that they were crazy to get engaged after only a year. Has Lindsay ever watched episodes of herself??? Danielle has always right or wrong stood with Lindsay, and Lindsay also has had Lindsay back not so much Danielle. I think Lindsay might benefit from listening to Danielle yes she jumped too quickly into a relationship and now is experiencing the repercussions of haste in living together moving too fast. Instead of Lindsay considering it she just bad mouthing Danielle without considering benefit of her own experience and saying Danielle are you alright??? Carl's personality has definitely changed before Lindsay while initially in sobriety steps was able to socialize smile not so much now. She is the most toxic bully victim ever seen.

I think the entire ending of this video is problematic and a complete red flag on Lindsay's part. You can sense the tension in Carl as he speaks because he doesn't want to say something that will upset her. I don't know how everyone doesn't understand Danielle's side. Like they're moving super fast in conjunction with Carl's sobriety...combine that with a year ago Lindsay went through a whole miscarriage. Like I would 100% be cautious with my friend. She was wrong to go to the other girls and vent but like...Lindsay is NOT receptive to anything but blind support. Lindsay is a narcissist: As a result, one of Carl’s “ narc job’s” is to “take care of” problems that Lindsay has caused, whereby he will lose friends and isolate himself more and more. Believe you me Carl cannot afford high-maintenance Lindsay….because everything with her is performative. The ring, the wedding, their travels, their rent, their engagement, etc…these are very very very expensive items… Carl cannot afford this.. Danielle is so freakin jealous of Carl and Lindsay relationship. She wants what they have so bad it's killing her! She looks and acts desperate. Danielle has never really fit in with the group to begin with. It's not a bad thing just she's different from the rest. It'll be interesting to see if they can repair and maintain their friendship especially after Carl and Lindsay get engaged.
