About Summer House:
After a whirlwind engagement last summer, Carl and Lindsay have become consumed by wedding planning. Lindsay feels pressure from Carl to be positive all the time, which she admits can be difficult, and Carl acknowledges there has been a shift in their relationship. But with the wedding quickly approaching, will they be able to find a way to address these issues in time?
Kyle is busier than ever with Loverboy and a recent potential pregnancy has Amanda contemplating the next step. Amanda is ready to leave city life behind and buy a house in the suburbs, but Kyle has other ideas as he continues to expand and focus on his company. Will they be able to continue to work together, stay married, and raise a family all at the same time?
Paige is happily in love with Craig, and they are the best they’ve ever been. However, when it comes to taking the next step, she continues to make excuses. When she starts looking for a new apartment in New York, Craig questions her choices and she is left wondering if her unwillingness to commit is going to push their relationship over the edge.
For the first time in years, Danielle is single for the summer. She isn’t interested in another house romance, but she is ready to mingle with outsiders who come her way. She is also attempting to rebuild her friendship with Lindsay by setting boundaries. Will she be able to rebuild the relationship with her former best friend while allowing herself to grow, find love and launch her new app?
After two years in New York City, Ciara is coming into this summer full steam ahead with a more positive mindset. She is taking chances not only in her modeling career, but also in her personal life. Unless Lindsey is able to see herself for who she really is she and make some changes she is never going to be able to sustain a long-term relationship. She can never be wrong and hits below the belt in order to win an argument. I laughed when she called Kyle nasty because that is one of the best descripties of how she relates to people.

I agree with you! Lindsay is such a manipulator! I hate to see how she manipulates each of her subsequent boyfriend so that he does everything the way it suits her. It gets to the point where all her boyfriends start to be afraid of her. They are afraid to say an extra word to her, so that she will not be offended. She loves to make herself look like a victim and constantly find fault with her boyfriends. Lindsay perceives and treats her boyfriends, in this case, the fiance, not as the most wonderful person in the world, whom she wants to put on a pedestal, but as a thing that she bought and this thing should work 100% for her. Lindsay squeezes all the juices out of her boyfriends until they start running away from her. This is not love. Love is when you love your fiance the way he is, and you don't constantly try to find fault with him. Apparently Lindsay won't understand this.

Ciara and Amanda didn't grasp the situation entirely but acted like mean girls when Lindsey spoke. I'm glad Lindsey didn't let it bother her, but Ciara and Amanda still hold some resentment towards her. Let's face it: Carl was playing the victim and setting Lindsey up for failure, which is ridiculous. I'm also glad Paige didn't comment much about Lindsey and Carl because she can see through people. Carl tries to manipulate the audience into blaming Lindsey, who has always been portrayed as the troublemaker in Summer House. It's pretty remarkable how he attempted to make himself look like the victim and sway the audience into thinking that Lindsey was mistreating him when they were both provoking each other.

Paige actually has commented on it a lot if you watch the after show series on KZfaq where they react to this season. She talks about how Lindsay always puts a spin on things and tried to make it seem like the girls weren’t team Carl. And how Gabby was her puppet this season instead of Danielle.

Supposedly, Carl went to his parents before he went to the Summer House. He kept the bomb of his discussion with his parents for when cameras rolled. Kyle can see no wrong in Carl. He let him keep a job when he was drugged up. Now that he is sober he hired Carl back..the Carl who didn’t seek jobs and lived off so called savings and his gf half rent. Then he wants his gf to jump for joy when he takes a pity job for his friend Kyle.

It may not last with Craig but never with Jesse cause remember when Ciara said she will never ever introduce her friends to Jesse and Paige said yeah, is nice and all but he’s a walking red flag when it comes to a relationship and the guy even says it that he’s not ready for a serious relationship and one thing about Paige, looking at her past boyfriends, she likes the put together, financially responsible and definitely relationship material so she’ll flirt and all but knows what she wants when it comes to relationships.

The cast all clearly sided with Carl that it’s impossible for her to claim she was blindsided. I’m glad Andy called her out for saying that Carl arranged the breakup with the producers and shut her lies down. Also glad to see Kyle, Amanda, Paige and Ciara call her out on her lies. Carl took accountability for his part. This chick told people he was using drugs as well as accusing him. As a person in recovery that is just too much. Recovery has to be the priority or the risk of relapse is too high. That was disgusting. I would have ended it there.

Kyle constantly interrupting Lindsay was unbelievable. Every time she tried to say something, Kyle would shut her down. Come on, Kyle, give her a chance to speak! You can't talk to her like that; she's not your wife. And defending your friend Carl when Carl was part of the drama in his own house? I used to support Carl, but after seeing the whole picture at the reunion, it changed my perspective entirely and felt like a betrayal to the viewers. Also, West shows no empathy for Ciara; he just looks at her with that clueless smile. I don't think he's into women, I believe he has a thing for Jesse Solomon.

I was glad Kyle spoke out and held her accountable. He wasn’t the only one. Andy called her out on her lies about Carl calling producers to end the relationship. Amanda, Paige and Ciara all called out her lies too. Other than Gabby who has been her puppet all season, none of the cast backed her story. We’ve all seen her lack of accountability in every relationship she has. Change nothing and nothing changes.

No one needs to villinize Lyndsay. Lyndsay has proved consistently every season that she's a villian. Also everyone knew that their relationship wouldn't work. Carl was and is super fragile state. He has a lot of addiction, mental health, and grieving issues going on. If those 2 would have stayed together it would have been extremely toxic and volatile. I'm sure Lyndsay will find her next victim soon if she hasn't already. Carl needs therapy and time to sort all his issues out before he can be successful in any relationship.

Here’s my unsolicited take on the lives of people I’ve never met: Jesse looked so uncomfortable. His shoulders got higher and higher as the show continued. Cheers to him for being cancer-free, having fun, and dating who he damn well chose to despite all the background chatter. Wes was a mess! I get it…he liked Ciara and it didn’t work out. They were just getting to know each other. I mean I know kisses are promises…and for old school Southern women - if we sleep together, we “go together.” It’s the conservative way of choosing to be exclusive. Give the guy a break. Sure, he liked the attention of being in the public eye again like his old footballer days. But so what? Ciara was solidly and staunchly indignant. She put too much pressure on a dude she knew was casual. She didn’t get burned. It just didn’t work out. No need to try and vote him off the island. Paige…love that she stuck up for Ciara but part of being a friend is telling your friend if/when they’re wrong - the agree and support model isn’t fair to anyone. Carl finally broke free from being a Stepford fiancé and supporting Lindsay regardless of how terrible her actions were and being willfully complicit by supporting her. He threw all of his friends and his job beneath a speeding subway car…all because he had to support Lindsay. By the time he found his voice and the bright light of her veneers no longer blinded him, he had landed firmly in the land of Douche-vile. No one cared what he had to say any more because it was the opposite of what he’d been preaching for the last year. Zip it…and try not to get fired again. Cheers to him on maintaining sobriety, but is that how he introduces himself now? Sober Carl only talks about being sober and working out. He also seems to be attracted to strong women but isn’t strong enough to handle them beyond the bedroom. Lindsay was BLIND - not blind-sided. Marriage is her final destination and she doesn’t seem to care how she arrives or the condition of her spouse when they get there. Hopefully she will land on a partner who can handle her nuttiness - it will more than likely be someone well off, doing well business-wise, accustomed to ignoring his histrionic partner and says “yes, honey. I’m sorry. Ok honey” like A LOT. Gabby has become the new Danielle - blindly supporting Lindsay’s every mis-step. But it looks like she had fun when her ears weren’t being assaulted, battered and burned by Lindsay’s skewed accounts of her latest arguments with Carl. Danielle…blah! Why is she so afraid of Lindsay and why on God’s hot, green Earth did it take so many years to complete a simple app? Is it live? I don’t care enough to Google it. At least she had fun - at the expense of a few peoples’ feelings but lots of good, horizontal fun. Kyle…I get it. Summer should be fun! @JameMac11 im personally glad Kyle and Amanda checked Hubbard as best they could. Look its a tv show i get it and we see a fraction of what goes on. Saying that, Lindsay drunk throwing the Carl jab at the beginning...well she got a pass on that behaviour. Also the not working comments, he's getting paid to be on the show. For someone who lets it known shes in weekly therapy for 8 years clearly lacks the self awareness to learn...you dont speak to people like that, a relationship is partnership not a boxing match, when your fiance is trying to figure out their next career direction, listen, be a sounding board, not the arbitration committee and ffs woman no one expects you to be unicorns and rainbows delivering joy and happiness...your so far removed from that id rather talk to anyone else

The reunions are getting maddening. I cannot watch another reunion of the girls trying to crucify Lindsey again. Yes she is outspoken but the girls really pretended to be her friends and hated her still. Paige and Amanda are so hateful and honestly there should have been more of a deep dive between Kyle and Amanda's relationship.

It gets to the point where all her boyfriends start to be afraid of her. They are afraid to say an extra word to her, so that she will not be offended. She loves to make herself look like a victim and constantly find fault with her boyfriends. Lindsay perceives and treats her boyfriends, in this case, the fiance, not as the most wonderful person in the world, whom she wants to put on a pedestal, but as a thing that she bought and this thing should work 100% for her. Lindsay squeezes all the juices out of her boyfriends until they start running away from her. This is not love. Love is when you love your fiance the way he is, and you don't constantly try to find fault with him. Apparently Lindsay won't understand this.

He was definitely planning a break up with her! he talked to everybody but his fiance I have absolutely no clue why nobody can see that! If he was a real man, he would have sat her down. I was really impressed by Lindsay's honesty and self-reflection this season. She openly admitted her mistakes and was transparent about her feelings. On the other hand, Carl seemed to manipulate the situation by portraying himself as the victim and Lindsay as the antagonist, which was totally unfair. I have a newfound respect for Lindsay and it's amazing to see her personal growth. It's clear that she was being truthful, while Carl was trying to control the narrative. The truth is, he didn't want to commit, so he orchestrated this whole scenario to make himself look like the victim and Lindsay the villain, which wasn't the case at all.
