Belushi and Farley died from drug overdoses and are hailed as heroes, but the ones that get out beforehand are stuck being hated rather than supported. Isn't it better that she made it? She went to drugs and alcohol for solace like so many stars before her, got her act together, went to rehab, and is brave enough to share her experience only to have all the hate renewed.

I don't think it was such a good idea to do the show so shortly after she came out of rehab (shooting started literally a few days later). I can't really judge it completely because I've only seen the first episode so far, but it just seems to have been too sudden for her to be followed by cameras all day. As if being followed by the paparazzi isn't enough. Going to rehab was good for her and I applaud her for finally admitting she needed help, but you also need to realize that once you're out that doesn't mean the work is done and you're fixed. She obviously has been dealing with a lot of issues for a long time and that doesn't just go away that easily, it takes time and patience and you also have to be willing to do the work, otherwise it has been all for nothing. Recovery doesn't have day off, it's a constant battle and it's hard enough to deal with it on your own in privacy, but having camera crew follow you around and filming constantly doesn't help at all. I don't fully understand the severity of her issues, but any person would be fragile and vulnerable after coming out of rehab, especially knowing that the whole world is watching and waiting for you to mess up. I'd like to believe she is being genuine and honest, but sometimes it's hard to tell if it's all real or if she's just pretending in front of the camera. I am really rooting for her, I genuinely hope she will be able to overcome what she has been struggling with. She's beautiful and smart and she has so much potential as an actress.
