So after interviewing the lovely Lindsey Stirling, I put her in the infamous Hollywire Hot Seat. And the results were pretty hilarious.
She gave us the scoop on her first celebrity crush, along with a pretty amazing star struck moment she had during 'Dancing With The Stars.'
Lindsey also dished on some of her nerdy obsessions, and shared an awesome go to dance move she likes to bust out at the clubs.

When Lindsey said "I will survive" as karaoke song, I just remembered reading her blog in 2010 where she wrote, she had to dance to this song in front of 2000 midaged women for atleast a minute, so it was pretty awkward.

Because to them the experience of reading the book may be different. Even if the content were exactly the same, some people just process things better in certain media forms.

I'm an extrovert for sure and I always read the books before I see the movie, it allows me to judge adequately and decide which I prefer, but maybe that's less to do with that kind of label and more to do with the fact I'm a Libra.

Mosco Moon I enjoy both thoroughly so I can never really pick and choose. What I tend to do is read a book and years later when it's turned into a movie use the movie's visuals and themes to re-read the book with a clearer more artistic image of what's going on. Basically reading it your way and then re-reading it through different eyes. I am definitely an introvert for the most part though. Agreed though books before movie if it can be helped.

Leroy Bishop Yeah thats a good idea, I guess it depends on how good the book was to begin with, if the book was rubbish and the movie was worse I wouldn't bother wasting my time reading the book again xD

I think you're generalizing too much. Introversion doesn't mean you value "deep personal contemplation" when reading a story book. And similarly opposite with extroverts. I'm a pretty serious introvert, but I would never read the book vs. watch the movie. I've only read one novel (non-school) in my life. Cuz to me, I don't value the details of a fiction story that much. But I read science textbooks for fun because I value the details that comes from facts (vs. fiction). By the same principle however, yes, the book is "better", as in you can't get nearly the same details from Morgan Freeman on the Science channel! ;)

Sandy Karpe Four months later, and you can see in her Prism video that one of the Violindseys briefly does the Swag Swing towards the end during the refrain part of the song. P.S. Swag wasn't as successful as some of her songs, so while I'd love to see a Swag video, I can't see it being a priority for her.

Darth Rabbit I can't hear any lisp! I love Lindsey and I've never heard a lisp. I don't mean to sound angry. I'm not, sometimes confusion is hard to convey through text. Could someone explain why I'm the only person who can't hear any lisp?

I play guitar which is also a stringed instrument and i've (Attempted) to play violin. In both the tips of the fingers are pretty hard up against the fret board. Maybe its a subcontious thing to keep finger nails from getting in the way. I notice there were a few guitarists down a few comments. ANyone get what im saying?

Lindsey Stirling is an incredibly talented dancing dubstep violinist. She's done several covers of different songs such as "My Immortal", as well as movie and video game soundtracks like the "Zelda Medley" and "Star Wars Medley". She's also collaborated with other KZfaqrs such as Peter Hollins for a "Skyrim" cover, and of course, created many original songs such as "Elements", "Moon Trance", and my personal favorite, "Crystallize." She recently released an album that you can buy at Target, and she has a channel on KZfaq, so if you haven't checked out her music yet, I strongly recommend you do so! Hope this helped! She's a dancolinist, the first of her kind pretty much. 4 million subs. That's unheard of for violin class musicians, esp for young audiences in YT. My experience and intuition tells me, that her popularity will make other's follow and train from youth (like ballet) in this new style of performance art that no one else thought was possible or that there's such a huge audience for it. She will make violins not "nerdy" and as cool as guitars! What you're looking at is "The Mother of the Orchestral Dance"! ;)
