A new series of stories on Sky News is looking at how the UK in 2018 is changing.
In the first of our Line 18 series, we take a look at the sheer scale of wealth inequality in the UK, hearing from the deprived and the privileged.

The only difference I see is bright, psychotic, hardworking but ordinary, broken and dreaming. Money is a reward not a personality type. Money never defines the personality but alleviates the problems and hardships. Need to focus on owner class and plebitarian.

Richest country in the world. UK is the 6th richest and has the second biggest debt in the world. UK has 2/3 of debt of the USA. I don't know how we can pay that off.

@@ABanRocks we have under 1.8 trillion in debt the us has 20 trillion be have the 5th largest economy in the world with a gdp of 2.9 trillion

@@danieljohnson4994 India has passed UK which makes UK 6th in GDP. There is also few others asian countries which are predicted to pass UK in the near future. UK as it is will be luck to be in the top 10 in 50 years sadly.

Being who,indias economy is now slightly larger because it has a population of 1.4 billion and its definitely got less in the treasury than the uk with hundreds of millions of Indians living in slums. And the wealthy in india abusing the poor in sweatshops for ridiculously cheap labour

The poorest places in Uk say alot but very beautiful and affordable and people are much more laidback where in posh cities people are running about like headless chickens

What? Those singers looked chill af, seemed like they have a blast. Rich lady with Aston also looked very relaxed and basically living a dream. Meanwhile that poor beach resident looked a bit depressed about that place and poor couple seemed also really sad and anxious.

Yes but a lot of people can't access it as a lot of areas don't have an NHS dentist anymore. Not everyone here has bad teeth🙄

Sampling bias. There are poor households where the people are abusive and filled with hatred for each other. Naturally, they wouldn't be welcoming of a reporter coming in and asking questions.

How much money have and supported the most reached peoples when they died only have the kindnesses and loving real love "God" before the God and Devil... Killing is not only killing with knife and God, Stupid and wrong political in anything cause killing the faith of peoples to God and it's more worst action they have doing
