In this video I unbox the NEW Line 6 HX One Multi-Effects Pedal. This is the newest addition to the Line 6 Helix lineup and features over 250+ effects, plus tons of features in a compact, single pedal. I really enjoyed trying out this pedal and I think its the perfect pedal for someone who needs to use lots of different effects or wants that "swiss army' pedal that covers a lot of tonal ground.
The pedal DOES come with the Line 6 HX Edit software upon registering online, its a free download!

I still needed to use my own distortion pedal. As this sounded fake

The distortions are mid-tier, it really shines with delay and modulation to me

Thanks for the demo. Regarding Flux...... can the Fluxxed parameter changes be used without a time limit before going back to the non Fluxxed set effect?

Like will it switch instantly? Or will it stay Fluxxed indefinitely?

Yes it can stay on! It’s basically a “favorite switch”. It stays on until you turn it off. The ramp on and ramp off time just set how long it takes to engage or disengage when you hit the button

@@woodyardmusic LOL.. what is this..1995? Even in 1995 Korg Pandora already existed and could do better than this nonsense pedal 😅 Meanwhile Zoom and other brands keep pushing the market with little size MULTI-effects pedals.

@@saxombie8614honestly, it’s a genius marketing move / cash grab from Line 6. They already have the algorithms, why not pack them into a single stomp and sell that as an additional product? But you’re totally right, it doesn’t stack up against true multi-effects pedals.

U need to plug it straight into a amp. All these people on KZfaq play all these units threw all these u beaut recordings

Thanks for the feedback. I usually prefer the tone from a real amp. Unfortunately most of what I do is with amp sims so that’s my basis for testing things personally. I’ll consider mic’ing up my amp for the next one!
