This video was live streamed using the SlingStudio wireless broadcasting system. The primary front facing camera is a Fuji X-T20 (using HDMI directly into the hub), with the iPhone 8+ as the overhead camera, and the iPhone 7 as side facing camera (both smartphones using SlingStudio Capture app), and using the iPad Pro (2018) for switching using the SlingStudio Console app. The audio is coming from the Blue Yeti microphone connected via USB to the iMac (for power only) and then its headphone line-out goes directly into the SlingStudio hub.

For all my life, I saw myself as a person who could barely even draw a stick figure. About 10 days ago, I woke up with the feeling of wanting to explore drawing and painting more. I tried a few courses, but it wasn't until I started following yours that I really sticked to it. I find your enthousiasm super contagious and I really love the way you teach, which makes me want to do lesson after lesson. By now I've surprised myself so many times - I think I'm hooked to drawing now! Thanks for all you're doing here!

I've been doing this course for a few weeks now and I am on lesson 12. I love this and I am so grateful for this as it creates the structure that I needed. I love listening to you talk! I am also finding my own style which is perfect and what I was looking for. I was not sure I needed a 'beginners course', but as it turns out it is never the wrong decision to go back to basics, as my creativity is flourishing. Thank you Michael! Also, your kid is so adorable.

Michael, you have opened my eyes to a new demension and the colored markers are also great way to differentiate the movement in our drawings. Lesson 12# Thank you oh and I also love that little laugh you have! Smiles

Thank you for answering my questions and giving me feedback on my drawing. Your comment about my lettering makes a lot of sense! I find this streaming class to be very helpful since I am following you draw in a sketchbook about the same size as mine.

Wow this video is a large jump in skill level. I kept up with the others in the series so far but this one made me feel like ive never drawn before haha.

After hours of practice, i will say ive improved quite a lot! For years ive been stuck at a stage between basic/intermediate drawing, and this series is helping me climb out of that into a new way of drawing!

Thanks for watching and drawing along! I get similar comments on various other videos in this series! Some aspects of drawing will come easier to some people than others, and what you find easy may cause others to quit in frustration! Just keep moving forward, don't give up!

That’s okay! Some of these lessons are easier for some people than others. For instance, some of them you may find easy while they may frustrate another person, and vice versa. That’s totally normal, as each person has areas that they excel in. Realizing one’s strengths and weaknesses is a big part of the Artist’s journey (our anyone’s journey, for that matter!) deciding whether to focus on perfecting your strengths or transforming your weaknesses into strengths, is a personal choice! 😀❤️
