Holy crap!!! Throw back Sunday!!! I remember watching this video multiple times before this chapter came out. At the time, the skill animations and sound effects were epic like how the electrical stun would surround you after you got hit. After looking back on this game and comparing it to other MMOs, particularly the newer ones, I think this game is by far my favorite. The graphics were gritty in the beginning where your armor looked pretty generic and crappy, but as you gained levels and items you started to look more like a real hero. Even the higher level armor had a crisp, defined look to them unlike the cartoonish style most games have today. The PvP aspect definitely was lacking compared to what can be done today, but it was still pretty epic. Another part of Lineage 2 that made it "unique" was the grind. Of course older games had that grind, but that added depth to the game. You spent more time in particular areas. You worked hard to gain levels. You developed real rivalry (or shall we say... distain) for other guilds or people. You actually felt like you accomplished something huge when you crafted that new tier weapon that needed like a million pieces of ore. If only I were a kid again and they made an updated game like Lineage 2... Those were fun days.

@dphoenixx You are right, but the old wow has about 1000 quests that are a little random. but now the new cataclysm has 3000 new quest the branch out from the main story to other smaller quests. and the reasons that they do stuff like wrath of the lich king is to make things new and exciting. you can always look forward to a large change that makes the game new and fun again.

ye, som helps sk casts debufs like hex, power brake or drain. It's usefull.

@dphoenixx Im a big fan of L2 and WoW, both games have pros and cons.The comment u made about the global re-use, it happens cause in WoW, the instant casts are actually instant, so if there was no global cd u could spam all instants at same time. In L2, instant skills, like aura flare or Dagger stabs, depend on cast speed or atk. speed, they aren't exactly instant skills (evasion or dash also take like half a second to use), the skills arent exactly instants, so there is no need for a global cd.

I started playing l2 about 4 years ago, when i get bored i tried to play WoW, heh the only thing i like in WoW- jumping, i was jumping about 2 weeks in wow :D then i came back to l2, more realistic, better graphic and it gives more satisfaction. Really if u're looking for some new mmorpg experience, play L2-it rocks!

that part when the warlord killed some random noobs watching the pvp was funny. Good Good pvp video first one that isnt like zoomed all the way out.

Damn man I miss old L2. New sagas now are just more weird and modern, longer to play, harder to gain, insane stats etc. Classic L2 was till C4 and that is fact.

Beyond the Bounds... This music is just amazing (although ZOE2 too). On the other side Lineage 2 seems to be a 3D MMORPG like other. But this is just my opinion, I've not tried it after all.

@dphoenixx Well wow has a maine story line, but the other quests branch out into smaller stories, but it is still filled with story. you just never looked into it and your just saying shit with out completly knowing what your talking about. and when you see the story line change due to the lichking for example its still keeping to the story, just throughing in new threats. there is just to much to explane.

@dphoenixx Yup i do agree on that, but dont forget that those comments like "This is copy of WoW", are made by "10 year old", who havent really played any other game besides WoW, because if they did, they wouldnt say such things. I started playing WoW 3 years ago (dont play anymore), and i still think that L2 and Aion own in pvp, although i have to give props to WoW on pve system.
