This video is the demonstration of the working of a linear motor
Electric current produces magnetic field and varying magnetic field produces electric current, these discoveries were made by Hans Christian Oersted in 1821 and Michael Faraday in 1831 respectively. These discoveries led to the inventions like; electromagnets, electric generators, motors, induction heaters and many more.
Any motor including this linear motor works on the effect “When current carrying conductors is placed in a magnetic field, that conductor experiences a force”, this force is called Lorentz Force, When the current in the conductor is perpendicular to the magnetic field, the force is perpendicular to both, the direction of this force is determined by Fleming’s Left Hand Rule

Fantastic Ajay sir. I have shown this video to my son who is doing engineering in Electrical and Electronics. He is also appreciated the method you used to explain. Secondly now I will never forget left hand rule . I was having tough time to remember the directions of force , field and current.
