I loved this tutorial. I used pattern to make a baby blanket using Lion Brand Mandala cakes. The best learned technique from this video was to make sure I flipped my work each round so the blanket doesn’t get wonky. Instead it stayed very square. Thanks for sharing!

I wasn't *planning* to go on a yarn fast, but here I am still stash-busting about 16 months still later and you wouldn't even be able to tell by looking at my shelves... I think it breeds in the baskets and makes little 25g balls of odd colors when I'm not looking

@@iesika7387 funny you mention that and me trying to make light of it-I had a wool moth infestation that I discovered last week. They were In my yarn and in a wool rug under my 2 living room sofas. So I’ve cooked some wool in bags in the sun to try to save and I threw out 2 bags of wool that was too far eaten and gross. I’m also throwing out the baskets -going to bins with cedar blocks. I guess I’m joking about it as a way to cope. It’s been Very emotional. Be careful with what you have out -good thing I crochet with a lot of acrylic! They prefer wool and cotton. 😞

So I came to this video to learn about temperature blankets and when i read 'linen stitch square' I was curious about what that meant. I grabbed a random ball of yarn and the hook i'm using for a current project and followed along and OH MY GOSH this simple pattern is so NEAT LOOKING. How fun and how fast it is to do it!!! I've made scrap scarves with the moss stitch in the past and it's easily my favorite stitch to do but I never realized you could do it as a square also. this was really fun!!!

Perfect timing, helpful annotations and excellent graph patterns. Because of your enthusiasm, I’ve recently picked up crocheting again after 35-urgish years of having not touched a hook since my granny taught me. And I LOVE it! Thank you! I’m a farmer’s wife, and in my day there’s a lot of hurry up and wait for short, undetermined bursts of time in the house or on the go, and this is the exact hobby I need to to keep my hands productive for 10, 20, 30 minutes at a time. I just love your channel, your teaching style and smooth, calm voice. Last night I was able to learn the Tunisian simple stitch with your tutorial. It's amazing! This tutorial has me confused, though, as it is too hard to see where to insert the hook.. 😢 I've tried twice and will come back tomorrow.. ❤ I must be tired.
