Funny you say that, Zephyr, considering sonic rave is a really shit limit to use against bosses. Ars Arcanum is directly better- does more damage, gets more HP, has better parry/I frames, and is more likely to get you some control of the fight, as long as you don't do the last RC on it like an idiot and add revenge value. And to be honest, the reason these fights are hard for people is because they throw on every ability possible. At this point, Aerial Finish should never be equipped, Combo Pluses are situational, and doing more than two finishers in one combo is almost guaranteed to get you hit. Retaliating Slash will get you killed more often than it helps, Dodge Slash should never be equipped, Aerial Spiral gets outclassed by Dive, Upper Slash would mean you can do a ground combo, so why switch to air? Valor Form should NEVER be used at this point, since you lose all means of defending yourself for a negligible increase in damage that will generally add more revenge value, meaning you get hit for your troubles. Wisdom Form saved for Dance Water Dance and grinding, Final Form to spam Firaga without doing finishers since strange interactions. Limit Form Ars is strangely ridiculously good for all fights that aren't -Burritos- Xigbar, Xaldin, or other aerial based bosses. The one thing that made me happiest in this video- NicoB is using DP instead of defaulting to Ultima Weapon. He gets i-(sees aerial combos)...sort of. tl;dr ranting, don't equip random shit without knowing what it does, use DP for ground damage, use Hero's Crest for aerial, use Ultima for curagacuragacuragacuragacuraga, don't do triple finishers, learn what revenge value is

Not quite lol, LW takes the same amount of damage both on the ground and in the air, he just has a sort of armor system in place where he takes very little damage at the start of combos but more and more damage as you rack up hits on him, and as you get multiple combos off he takes more damage from combo finishers than the any of the other superbosses, that way random stray hits are functionally reduced to insignificant chip damage and you’re basically forced to figure out what LW’s openings are if you want to get high damage off Also the armor is empty lol, I get that Terra’s mind is what’s inside but the whole point of LW is that there’s no one in there lol

To be fair, if you're watching it blind without expecting it, you don't really see enough of their face to make the connection and you're mostly focusing on all the bullshit awesomeness. And Nico has a history of missing things (like those crossdressing reveals) so it doesn't surprise me that much. Can't wait for when he can put names to faces though!

Honestly I think he should just play it, its just not worth it, more work, and more waiting for us for the episodes.

I'm on the fence about it, I WANT him to play the DS game because the emotional impact with some of the bosses make it worth it, however there are parts of the original game that will feel like a drag, and it looks worse cause its on the DS. If only they just friggin REMADE the game in the remix, this would be solved.

He was busy look into his dreamy eyes to tell if he was dead or not. That's why the first thing he exclaims after seeing that shot of him is "No he's alive." Imagine since it's just a bunch of new stuff to take in as well as trying to register anything that is happening in the fighting that he just missed that. Sadly we won't get the reaction despite being my sole reason for watching the play through.

Yes! This is the best way to do it. Doing simply one over the other would make you miss out on essential things. Splicing them both together would be too hard and confusing. I think playing the game, then watching the movie is the best way to go. I hope he considers it.

It was Nico’s blind playthroughs of these games that made me have the courage to replay all the games and get the platinum trophies. I just need to beat the data fights in KH3, then I need to play and platinum Melody of Memories. And eventually go back and do a critical of Dream Drop Distance. I actually got the platinum on proud with DDD

In terms of 358/2 cutscenes, they did add more cutscenes otherwise the story would feel extremely disjointed with only the original ones. However the added ones still cut out some events and lessens the impact of certain scenes since you don't feel the same passage of time that the ds game forced you to feel. Also the hd remix iirc cut out one of my favorite parts from the original game. It may be hard to insert the cutscenes into your lp
