I'm a different kind of American. I live in a tiny cabin I built myself, the electric is solar only and I catch and filter my own water. Grow a small garden and hunt. Wood heater . No air conditioning. Small town man that prefers wilderness and self reliance. Thanks for the videos.

Well, Kid, I finally caught up with your videos by date, that is. I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana. My father was a building contractor, and as so, he built our two homes along with his business buildings. In 1951, he built our first home. (I was born in 1953.) At that time, all wooden floors were in style. So our entire home had wooden floors except for the kitchen and bathrooms. My present home, was my family's second home, which was built in 1972. This house is rather large (4400 sq. ft.), but my younger brother and I owe it; therefore, we are currently living in it. Our floors are carpeted because in 1972, that was the fashion. However, for the past ten (10) years, wooden floors are now the style, using Oriental Rugs for the center of the room, and "runners" down each hallway. So, we are changing one room at a time to wooden floors. You can put any type of wood which you like. Personally, I like Rosewood Floors, but for the den, we are finding the hardest wood, which I think is Oak, so that my Doberman Pincher (110 lbs.) will not scratch the surface up with his claws. Promise me three (3) things that you will do. 1) Go to "Carmel" and stay at the Quail Lodge, and only take "The Pacific Room". You will need reservations. 2) Visit "Big Sur", and eat & drink at the "Napintha"; it is on the Oceanside of Highway One. The huge stairs, where you sit, have fire pits to keep you warm, while you enjoy watching the Pacific Ocean. 3) Go to "Wilkes-Bashford", located at 375 Sutter Street, San Francisco to buy both men's and women's clothes. Every sister and daughter should recognize the true God and take refuge in Him because the bond attached to God is unbreakable. ️Life Saving God We can be saved only by doing true devotion to God Kabir. The bond of the soul and the Supreme Soul is the bond of protection. God Kabir is the true protector of the soul. By taking initiation from a complete saint and doing true devotion to God Kabir Ji, all the past sins are destroyed and the devotee is always protected. Only God Kabir can save the whole earth. He is the creator of the universe. One should worship him. He is our real savior. Kabir God is the protector of all. The Supreme God is capable, who can avert even premature death. Only the Supreme God has the real power to protect. We can be protected from moment to moment only by receiving full devotion of God Kabir, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj ji. In the holy Vedas, Kabir Sahib ji has been described as the imperishable God. So let's take refuge in the one who protects us from moment to moment. One should not expect protection from anyone other than that God. Recognizing the real protector i.e. the Supreme God Kabir Saheb and worshiping him, then no brother and sister will get untimely death.

American from Wisconsin, My uncle in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan built a home like this, he's way out in the country and surrounded by colorful Northern nature. These places are so beautiful. We Americans love the vibe and comfort you get from the outdoors. At least that's how it is up far up in the Northern parts of the US where I'm from. We have people from all parts of the US come up here for the Northern nature all the time, it's very special.. I've never been that far West before, only Arizona very briefly, not able to observe the culture. There are so many different distinctly American cultures within America.

in the video 3:30 I like the room as well. small yet beautiful and light in decoration. gives a unique empty but filled feeling. Regarding the pillows we also have four to five pillows though two of them are used to keep legs during sleep or side support and mostly they are elongated in shape. Its our traditional style though may be not everyone might follow it.

This particular American house looks to be at least fifty years old, with some updates. The house design is not typical of today's American homes, especially those with open floor plans and indoor/outdoor living spaces that include outdoor kitchens, fire pits, etc. Nonetheless, the house shown here seems like it would be perfect for a rustic weekend getaway.

refreshing view thanks for all the work to produce. I would hate to live in a big City but also some of our small towns ARE cut-off out in the middle of nowhere,a car is an absolute MUST and a love of driving helps. as you can tell I love the suburbs...a world of difference in St.Louis

Small-town homes in the United States typically have front porches ("terraces" as you called them.) People like to have rocking chairs on their porches to sit in to whittle, knit or crochet, read a book, smoke, drink coffee or tea, and watch sunrise & sunset.

In the South, older houses also tend to have "sleeping" porches. Usually on the North side of the house and often containing a bed where people can go if it's too hot inside.

Veronica Hardy i have rocking chairs on my porch (terrace) i never set in them they are just for looks, we all have central air so we stay cool. :) I want to see some Russian videos! :)
