LinkedIn Company Page VS Personal Profile - What to choose?
If you’re an entrepreneur or marketer, you might wonder which one works best for generating leads on LinkedIn!
There are a few things to consider - LinkedIn company page is very limited in functionality. You can post updates to a Company Page, but that's about it.
On the other hand LinkedIn Profiles allow you to directly engage with other users by liking, commenting and sharing their posts.

Hey Ryan, just wanna ask why I cant create a 'work' type or personal profile and it always appears at the top 'for business'. I tried to delete my company page account to create a new personal account but it always show at the top 'for business'. How can I fix this?

Hi Ryan, Thanks for the interesting post. - I'm personally connected to many customers. - However, I run ads on LinkedIn. And ads must be connected to business page. Thus, I get followers on my business page. Now, where do would you post regularly? If I post on my personal profile, the business followers won't see my posts. If I post on my business profile, my personal followers won't see my posts (unless I comment on my own comments). Posting the same content 2x feels weird. Thanks in advance!

Hi Patrick you can try resharing the post from your company page. I've just personally found better engagement though posting directly from personal account.

HI Rayan, Hope you are well mate. What if your business is a side hustle? you want to be able to generate leads or traffic to your company page and offerings without the company or business being clear linked to your personal profile? (as most employers don't like side hustles) for now I want company page "faceless" but some of the content is relevant to my professional network, can I share content from my company page to my personal followers (will people be able to see any obvious link between myself and the company page).

Hey Joel! Long time! you can do that but it will be hard to build traffic to the company page without either promoting it through your personal profile (could do with messaging as no one but the message receiver would see it) or by using paid advertising on the company page. Hope that helps

@@joel_hunter I believe only if you are listed as an employee of that company would they be able to find an association.

They are seperate things. You can't convert from to another that I have heard of sorry.

I could hear you fine. I enjoyed your content. I was just talking about this last night . I have most of my linkedin connections through my personal webpage and added business information content. If I start a new business page then I have to start from scratch new followers and therfore it would look like the company was a start up...even though the company is new my experience in the industry is not.
