Linkin Park and Incubus are currently touring together as part of the Honda Civic Tour, and the super-charged show kicked off last night, August 11, in Bristow, Virginia Prior to the tour Artisan News spoke exclusively to Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington and Incubus vocalist Brandon Boyd We discussed how they got togetherfor the tour, potential collaborations for the tour, previous history,and all things Incubus and Linkin Park.

When I was 16 both their albums came to me in a very awesome way. I remember one friend brought over Linkin park's cd and said they suck lol!!! I was like what? How can I not?? And mad respect to incubus they were such a breath of fresh air. I am so thankful to have lived in a time of greatness!!

So fortunate i saw them in boston "Mansfield" that year.. incubus is my fav Been to 11 live shows. They absolutely kill it..i still cant get over chester...the way he talked about being away from his wife and kids just on tour. He wouldn't leave them. Its bigger than we know. What great people. R.i.p. Chester.

Went to their Carson and Chula Vista shows and they were fucking awesome!! So glad I was able to see them in concert together. Linkin Park and Incubus are my favorite!!!

he didnt say that. dont put words in his mouth which havent been there.. but partly is true that being n staying active helps for a while when you have a clinical depression, know myself. but it doesnt still cure it...

That's why I only have Linkin Park and Incubus albums here in my room and nothing more! I cannot specify one which is best, Linkin Park or Incubus. Both are greats in their respective genre! I can only say that Incubus is way more better when performing live bcuz they sounded like the studio version. But I do love both!

Ive never been (lucky enough to have needed to be) on tour for an entire year, but I can imagine it can get very weird. Especially when you are friends and family are all moving ahead of making progress while you've literally experienced round holiday every day-and-night for the past year, or id you're Metallica or any of the massive bands who play anywhere in the world that has electricity, then it must become even stranger and isolating. Yes, youre making money and you have a ton of accolades to your credit when you finish, but those accolades dont mean much when you miss so much of your own life and when youre almost forced by a record label to be a passenger in your own life, and they dictate where the cehicle YOU CREATED, will be going. Its a very fucked up dichotomy.
