That's not what most of their songs are like. Black Birds doesn't have as much energy as most of their songs. Then you have unreleased songs. You have the underground songs. You have 26 Lettaz In Da Alphabet, which really just sounds like a joke.

They should have re-recorded the song to be more like the Live Version and added it to The Hunting Party with another song title than "Qwenty". The Live Version fixes the problems that the song had, the intrumental in the chorus is a bit different and the bridge sounds faster.

It's 2021, I've been listening to nothing but Linkin Park the last couple weeks. I haven't heard this song in YEARS. As soon as Mike's vocals hit, it transported me back into my 11 yr old body. I really forgot how incredible this song is.

I've been a fan of this band since Crawling. To be honest I was pissed about Minutes to Midnight. I was like a large number of people who listen to their music, expecting them to do the same thing over and over again. But then I listened to A Thousand Suns and I realized that to be a true fan you have to mature with them. They've never been afraid of experimenting and that's what they've been doing from day one. I'm a real LP fan through and through even when they're not popular in the eyes of their "fans" I'll always listen to their music and understand exactly why they did it.

Great bands experiment, but they still stick to their roots. And when they experiement, it might not always be great. A good example of a band experimenting successfully is Led Zeppelin in their later albums such as Physical Graffiti

Linkin Park was always an experimental band to begin with, idk why everyone wants to keep them restrained to one genre. If they made songs that sounded like their earlier days today, it'd just be embarrassing because it'd mean they hadn't changed in 20 years and it'd all still just be angsty. Music is supposed to evolve. They've done an exceptional job. Also, it's kinda moot making my point here. They've been told they went pop since almost the beginning of their career, it's kinda funny when you think about it.

The sad part is people didnt even realise the bands core meaning and spirit never changed despite delivering in different ganres. When you analyze the lyrics the bend still tackles social issues and speaks to raise awareness about troubles people dont often speak up about.

Linkin Park came to Portugal last week and i went to see them. It was the best concert i've ever seen, you know why? Because the playlist was something i would probably call "Linkin Park best hits". Most of the songs were from before M2M, it was amazing. And Chester screamed ALOT. I've seen lots of videos of live performances and he never screams as much as he did, so i don't understand how he can have a lung problem.

NickCardTrick Debatable. Chester's screaming makes it harder for him to do proper singing live, and he can't switch between the two seamlessly live either. Mike's rapping is also quite a bit out of rhythm in live concerts, most noticeably on "Numb."

Wow. I’ve been listening to this band’s last two albums (from 2012 and also the most recent release just before Chester Benington passed away) because I’ve been trying very hard to get into the less heavy sound the band had on those two albums. Nothing on either of those albums sound like this - the only track coming to mind offhand would be “Blackout” from 10,000 suns (which, along with “Wretches and Kings” are the two best songs on that album I think) but, point is, this sound in this track is what both of albums lack enough of.
