This sounds like a completely different song. The weight, the effort you put into this song to make it not just an homage, or a cover, but your own track in a way speaks volumes to your musicianship. Chester would be freaking proud of this one. Great job, man.

The first time I heard this song was from Transformers. Now it’s a tribute to Chester.

Chester was able to get past whatever wrongdoings he may have committed. He expressed many of his emotions and struggles through his music which is why I love linkin Park. I listen to his music because I hope that one day I may be able to forgive myself for all the awful shit I have done

This is also just me stating my opinion, ) Didn't think I had the tears in me, after all, I hadn't heard this song in over a year. Boy was I wrong! Just mouthing the lyrics and thinking about all we've done as a species, some of the things we've done to our planet and to each other are unforgivable, had me silently shedding tears. I'm glad I got a chance to hear this again, and I was reminded again of the past, present, and future. This album had just come out when I ran away from home and hitchhiked out of town on the freeway; two guys picked me up in a BMW and they had literally just put the CD in the player. They dropped me off at the mall and I bought it myself; that CD probably had a hole burned in it on this track.
