Well they sampled the melody for sure. Sounds like multiple songs from the past. Even sounds like Lovers Oath from Genshin but it does sound 🔥.

Even if the melody is sampled, it’s transformative because no r&b pop song has used such a flowing and soothing melody to describe murderous fantasies. The juxtaposition is unique and gives us insight into how SZA wrestles with these emotions, rather than other “artists” who simply indulge in their emotions.

@@ninabalenciaga Her natural voice is okay. I prefer the engineered vocals though. She already had vocal surgery years ago because she damaged her vocals during her first tour. I rather her use the help to sing easier so that she doesnt destroy her voice.
