I’ve always been told to use sharpness on my swords but listening to your defense of smite makes a ton of sense

the main reason i use it is most mobs with armor are undead. a sharp axe is a nice way to still have something for hogs, and the axe pig men.

I have always been a smite boy also! Smite on my sword, sharpness on my axe. One controversial thing I do is put blast protection on my leggings in the overworld (To prevent creepers from getting you) as well as fire proct in the nether. 3 procts and one customized proct has always been my choice for several years. Keep up the good work man. You really deserve more subscribers, followers etc.

I started my world in 1.14 so i have both sharp and smite on my sword ;)

I'm starting to see why you've been able to survive in hardcore for over 35,000 days. You actually take this seriously which is a good thing. At the end of the day hardcore deaths are due to player error and not much else.

The first 100 days is always the most challenging. I would recommend watching part one that will give you some tips on surviving those first 100 days. You gotta be a little bit more because you’re not able to tank as much damage. There is certain fundamentals that you need to refine in order to get better at hard-core but don’t give up. I’m sure you’ll get there! I appreciate you
