Lingonberry and cranberry jam are considered more of a condiment than a normal jam in the UK, so they tend to be stocked in different areas of the store. Might have better luck finding it if you try a different section? Here it's usually found in the same section as mustard, onion chutney, pickles, apple sauce and other things in small jars like that.

Hi Linna! What a lovely day ~ About the shredded carrot: Finns eat it raw like that. 😊 Often a bit of lemon juice is added to keep it fresh. When shredded finely and made from sweet carrots, the taste is great! Especially kids like it, makes a nice and nutritious side salad. Sometimes it contains extras like canned pineapple or cottage cheese, or even orange chunks.

Be sure to mix in the lemon juice properly (like you would toss a salad), so it will be evenly spread. 😊 And if you have the time, please let me know how it tasted? Ps. I think it will go with many dishes just fine, but especially European dishes should compliment it nicely. I like to serve it with Makaronilaatikko (Finnish macaroni cassarole) or Swedish style meatballs and mash. ❤️

We eat raw carrot salad here in the Midwestern US, too. Often with raisins and maybe walnuts or pecans, dressed simply in lemon juice and oil, or a mustard based dressing. It’s something I ate as a child. My mother also made Waldorf salad with apples, celery and walnuts in a creamy dressing

Hope the hot weather slows down 😅 Here it’s still in the high 80°s F/30°sC plus humidity 🥵 I’m ready for autumn to come 😂 Chicken looked delicious 😋 Your breakfast and lunch looked amazing too 🤩 I’ve never thought to use cream cheese on fruit sandwiches. I’ve always used mayonnaise. I’ll have to give cream cheese a try! ❤

You can use the bread crust to make croutons! Just cut them into cubes and let them sit out for 1-2 days. Then, choose spices to toss them in, and oil, and bake or toast in a pan!

The dinner in this video looked so yum, I wish I could have tasted it through the screen! I love figs a lot, we get mainly Mission Figs here, think yours was a different kind. I have never had a shine muscat (or even seen them in any store here in California, perhaps they are not exported?) but they look so delicious!!!

好棒的早餐我喜歡無花果第一次看到這樣圓形切法很有趣葡萄看起來清爽對超市環節有種莫名的喜愛感看你買了一車尤其感到好舒暢最近台灣菜價很貴番茄尤其貴你都在超市買菜我則是選擇傳統市場因為台灣超市的蔬果都更貴哈哈雖然逛超市很舒服煮味增湯的豆皮也只有超市有看你每次跑了一二家買一堆真的都拿得回家嗎？真是辛苦了蘇打水加柑橘汁也是我會喝的飲料唷

We had an heatwave here last week, it was the first time ever in September to have that. It cooled down a bit (though in the weekend the temperatures will rise again) so I'm trying to get the heat out of my house as we don't have airco here. Honey and fig are a great combination. They're on sale here now so I'll get some. I love them paired with raw ham. If you can't find crandberry jam perhaps the bon mamam brand has red current; that has a similar tartness. The shu puffs we have here as well, it's a traditional sweet called slagroom soezen (whipped cream puffs) we have them with powdered suger over it. The kimchi with gyoza and tofy looks delicious! I really should be making these kind of things for my lunch more often. A thick egg roll as sandwich filling is a great lunch as well. Spread the bread with some mayo and wasabi and it has a bit of a kick.

Japan is really expensive country compared to India… But on the other hand it is really well developed and clean 😍 In india we get daily groceries in 300 to 500 INR which is approximately 800 yen from local markets If you ever plan to come to India please do visit Mumbai ☺️
