आप सभी गिर के जंगलो मे काम करने वालो को शत शत नमन आप लोग सिर्फ हाथ मे एक डंडा लेकर अपनी जान की परवाह किए बगैर जिस तरह से इनकी हिफाजत कर रहे है सचमुच काबिले तारीफ है हमारे प्रधानमंत्री मोदीजी जी अभी कुछ दिन पहले गिर के जंगलो मे शेरो की संख्या बढ़ने पर खुशी जाहिर कर रहे थे लेकिन इस सबका श्रेय आप सभी को जाता है जो इनको बचाने मे महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका अदा कर रहे है धन्यवाद आप सभी का जय हिंद ।

Asiatic lions seem much more relaxed than tigers. I don’t think anyone would dare to walk around on foot in tiger territory

not realy they have trained well to protect them selves. since they have jioned paagi group not even a single guard died from any animals attack in Gir forest. Yes many died on Road accident murdered domestic vioalnce etc etc.

Not really, most big cats don't see humans as prey. One just needs to be smart and avoid making them feel threatened. I have been in the close proximity of tigers and leopards on foot, and I can assure you that it's not super scary. If you respect them and give them their share of personal space, then they will respect you in turn. Ofc these guards might be targeted by the timber or illegal mining mafia. That is indeed worrisome.

No. It is not allowed to normal visitors. If you are gov approved organization or a wildlife activist and if youbare working towards betterment of wildlife then you will be allowed.

Lots of great photography and explanation, the staff needs to carry some kind of pepper spray for safety. It is easy to make pepper spray and fill it in containers with nozzles for easy and accurate discharge. Tourist rupees collected should be well spent on the forests, people going into the forests for wood and other forest products should be stopped.
