Great review once again! Your channel is continuing to reach high levels of success with the high quality diversity of your content. I think the berkshires actually utilized an early 2000s mold, not the recent pacific/hudson mold from a few years ago. I never noticed the smoke fluid scents until now.

This video is a good example of why I am into the classics, and the modern junk can go fall of a container ship into the ocean for all i care. My dad and I went out to York together back in April, we did the entire trip, filled the back of the car with derelict junk condition equipment (Nearly all of which has been restored and rebuilt), and drove back to Wisconsin, all for less than what ONE modern engine can cost.

9:13 I had to look up western pacific 918 and 921 Both are preserved and they were painted green and orange like the lionel model of it. Photos of them and many other F3s in green do infact exist Though I prefer western pacific orange Edit: the name of the paint scheme is "Perlman Green" because back in 1970, Alfred E Perlman became the president of western pacific until 1972.

I share Tyler's pain from seeing that WC GP30. I own one in HO scale from P2k (with the wrong horn, damnit) and it really stands out against most GP30s due to the AAR Type B trucks!

2252 is an Ex-CNW GP30, the Ex-Soo GP30's were numbered in the 700-series, which means the bogeys are indeed accurate. Typical Lionel picking the CNW variants so they don't have to change the design.

I hade the same pain with the Gulf Mobile & Ohio usra pacific 5296 and Missouri Kansas Texas usra pacific 411. *Both were not even usra locomotives!!* The real GM&O 5296 was a Chicago & Alton P-16 class pacific that has features seen on Harriman pacifics. And the Missouri Kansas Texas railroad (MKT for short, also known as the "Katy") *never had usra pacifcs* In fact, their H-3s which 411 is based on, *weighs between the weight of a usra light pacific and a usra heavy pacific. Thus making them "Medium Pacifics"* The real 411 was an H-3d class 4-6-2 pacific on the Katy. Problems with the Lionel MKT 411: 1. it's bell is supposed to be at the front 2. None of the Katy railroad pacifics had lamp shades 3. The oil bunker is supposed to be a bit taller. 4. The bell is supposed to be in the middle between the domes, not close to the rear dome Problems with the Lionel GM&O 5296: 1. NONE of the GM&O or Chicago & Alton P-16s burned oil 2. Those pacifics never had lamp shades 3. There is supposed to be a red cover at the front of the locomotives like on the P-16s 4. Once again, the bell is supposed to be in the middle between the domes, not close to the rear dome

At this point, I might as well kitbash a 1950s American Flyer s scale pacific, Get a lionel Flyerchief set and then a transformer and call it done. *this is because there hasn't been any new s scale steam locomotives as of now* maybe in 2024, American models might bring back their pacifics And maybe Bachmann and or Broadway Limited Imports could try making s scale locomotives and rolling stock, and see if they produce good results.

I love the format (everyone on discord watches and comments) but the results are less then stellar (ok it was so bad I couldn't watch it). I think you should have recorded everyone's stream and re-edit with a new time line, that way we just hear the good comments and everyone's volume levels are matched.

Lionel's SD70ACes are not only ludicrously expensive but totally inaccurate looking and cheap feeling. Previous owner of one. If you want a better looking, quality and slightly more affordable one, go with MTH Premier. Way better!
