Well... 1:47 to 2:05 is the perfect explanation why Messi is the Greatest of all time. It is always like when messi gets the ball we get excited, what is going to happen with it, how good of a pass its going to be, or a dribble, or a wonderful assist, is he going to dribble past all of them, maybe a goal. This Excitemen, this Joy we get while watching him play, i couldn't understand until i saw this video. And thats where Ronaldo is nowhere near him, Ronaldo does everything as a normal player does, he isn't intresting until he score expected goals. No fun to watch him with ball

u coulda shown his ligue 1 winning goal too. he scored a goal in a draw which technically won them ligue 1 as without that they woulda lost. it was the final point they earned. and they won by a point. but stilll amazing video. messi won french super cup, ligue 1, and world cup, and for me deserves ballon d or. haaland is an amazing goalscorer, but dissapeared in the big matches for the trophies he won.

Just watch the scene at 03:03, almost 99% striker would shoot when the goalkeeper came out, but Messi just dribble and pass then shoot, it seems he had plenty of time(within a second) to do the final job. How cool he can be.

They see 50 goals and think: ,,Oh ye that's the guy that was the best" whithout looking at any context. Haalands time will come . He had a phenomenal season capping it off with a treble . Had Messi not won the world cup to cement his legacy . Haaland wouldve won the Balon Dor for sure . I dont think anyone could begrudge Messi an 8th Balon Dor but the pinnacle of his career was helping his country win the greatest prize in football. . For Messi nothing else even comes close ! Its what he was born to do !
