There are no losers when a team plays against Messi. To be the best, you have to play against the best even when you lose, it is still making you better. Having Messi in the MLS will cause the entire MLS to raise their level of play; it is happening right before our eyes. Every player should just say "thank you" to Messi when they pass him before the game starts. Heck, every MLS player should be sending Messi a Christmas card and even a gift. He is the gift to the MLS; just enjoy his presence, men. There will not be another like him for a long time.

Hahah🥲🥲this is the last few years..cherish every moment I m just glad to see him happy and be loved I knew he will some impact even though being in the worse team but this level of impact wasn't expected completely turn around the team just wanna see him smile all those sleepless LA Liga nights coming to an end Godspeed. man, Miami really went from "the worst team in the league" to EASILY one of the best. sure, having Messi helps, but the WHOLE. entire. team. has been playing truly incredible, like they've been playing together for a decade. im truly in awe after every game. you love to see it!

Messi team mates are still learning and realizing that messi will always put the ball in the best possible way for them, but they need to move, to find the spaces, to create the opportunities. They are used to another kind of game. Messi is another level and he creates another kind of football but they need to be ready, they need to move quickly, to switch positions, to run diagonals, to be ready to play walls with him. They are not doing the best they can yet, but it understandable because they are not use to have something like him as a partner. Once they do all of this, with him possibilities are endless.

I agree, playing with an exceptional talent like Messi will definitely make them better players, but I was just wondering if that could work the opposite way? Messi came from PSG so was top of his game both mentally & physically for a player of his age, but now playing in games that lack both the same speed, intensity & demand for the correct mental approach as he is now doing in the MLS, will that have an affect?

Messi, buschetz and Alba are actually teaching Inter Miami how to play football. The rest of the team are learning and getting better. Messi is very smart using the younger players to make the runs and create chances, thus reducing pressure on him. That's why he is enjoying it so much plus he has two ex barca players to support him. Just need Inesta and Suarez, Neymar would be a bonus

I kind of agree but on a bias note I have R9 as the greatest and Messi behind him. Sure Messi has achieved much more and has had great longevity but for me R9 in his absolute prime for Barca and Inter Milan was unstoppable. R9 is also Messi favorite player. For people who say Messi is the greatest, I have no problem with that because achievement and natural talent wise he definitely is. R9 has the same talent but didn't last that long

Philadelphia fans are considered by most to be the worst fans in American sports. They'll boo anyone, even if their own team, even if their own team is winning. For a while it was so bad that they had a full court and jail underneath the stadium where the Eagles play. That only lasted a few years, but it does illustrate the situation. Fighting, riots, destruction of property, drunk idiots being drunk idiots. I'd still prefer to see a game there than in a boring city like SLC.

Yee-aah, probably about 30 yards out -- check the 5 and 6 yard mow-swaths on the pitch. Still, a heck of a great shot!

Keeper box is 20m, the mow swaths are about 6m each and he was outside at least two of 'em when he took the shot.. so that puts it at around 32 meters out at least.. Still ridiculous lol
