Imagine how many goals he would have to his name: 1. If he had dived and converted the ensuing penalties. 2. If he had taken all those penalties instead of sharing them with his team mates. And this pattern of sportsmanship from LM goes all the way back to 2009 when he truly became the No.1 in the team. 3. He would have more hattricks to his name if he did not share those penalties while he was on a hat-trick. What I feel is that LM is so good and so confident that he does not need to "cheat" to get scoring opportunities. As a great dribbler of the ball, he could have easily gotten many penalty calls in his favour if he went down with every contact in the D. But as the short video reveals, he is arguably the cleanest attacking player ever, if not, at least in the last 20 - 25 years. Goat for a reason!

@@jokerjac3455what do you think when people talk about different categories in football ???? Basic of football is dribbling, passing and shooting. These 3 are the basics of basics of football. Then there are scoring and defending. Things like heading and tackling are part of other basics like passing, shooting and defending. First of it doesn't really matter if a striker can use headers or not, as long as he scores. Messi has the most game-goal ratio ever. He is the greatest passer ever. He isn't that great at defending but who cares, he is an attacking midfielder or striker. And lastly his pace has went down after his injury in 2016. But he makes up with his positioning. What I wanna say is that, if we look at the basics of football like passing, dribbling and shooting/scoring. Nobody in history is nowhere near messi. If someone watches football they'll see that he is the best ever. Stats also prove that.

Many people who don’t consider Messi the goat are because Leo doesn’t really put himself out there and doesn’t even consider himself the best or a good player. Leo wants to play ball. He’s been so humble and has been in the spotlight for so long, and he rarely posts on any social media is shy for interviews and shy for commercials. In my opinion, he is the best player ever to play the game

He made a career of this. I remember in a not so distant time whenever Messi went down to a challenge, the whole stadium would erupt in collective anger, including every official. The guy never felt the need to go down for the sake of a penalty or free-kick. But when he did, you just knew it was bad. 🐐
