Messi in 10-11 was unplayable at times. Definitely one of his best dribbling seasons ever and one of the best versions of Messi. That final performance against United was probably the best ever final performance I've seen. He tore them apart on home turf (Wembley/England) and his dribbling was magical!

Messi’s best seasons in my opinion 10/11-his dribbling was the best it’s ever been, and was clutch in big games 14/15-the most complete we’ve seen his game. From scoring, assisting, dribbling. He should how much he matured as a player 18/19-he was a monster last season, especially in the champions league. His form in the CL and the league was INSANE. It wasn’t his fault Barca lost 4-0 to Liverpool. I swear from the form he was in he would’ve scored in the CL final and bought the big one home

It's interesting because if you look at stats alone, then Messi and Ronaldo were equal, as they both scored 53 goals that season. But you simply MUST look beyond stats to understand Messi's genius. He scored twice to knock out Real in the semis of the Champions League and then destroyed United in the final. He scored when it mattered most and led us to the double. Ronaldo did scored in the Copa final but Messi had the better season. Incredible, this little man is.

That season he was unplayable, simply brought magic out of nothing. No matter what this season will always be my favourite.

Man I’m not a Barca fan but I hate to admit when I saw Barca play at that time my heart was pounding whenever Messi got the ball and I would sometimes close my eyes. His talent scares me. He used to make top class players look like a bunch of kids

In my opinion Messi peaked in this season. He and Ronaldo Phenomenon are kinda similar when it comes about how early they picked (early 20s). Both were very agile and explosive... Messi never had a injury that could kill is career that Ronaldo have, but he got a lot of "little" injuries in mid and late 2013. I think those injuries took away a good portion of his acceleration and explosiveness. Messi after 2013 became much less dangerous.

That time, he was at the level where nobody had reached in the history and nobody can reach at his that level.. He was at his peak

I think 14-15 might have been Leo's best season regarding his overall play, and I do think that 2015 Messi is the best Messi, but his dribbling in the 10-11 season was on another echelon. His dribbling is close to that level now, but the ball was basically chained to his foot in that season. He literally destroyed Arsenal, Real, and Manchester United in the Champions League, and no one could stop him. I think it had to do with the fact that he still had that incredible pace (he was 23) and he entered his prime in terms of dribbling, passing, etc.

People never acknowledged the strength in those two legs. Many people say he’s a tiny guy that can easily be kicked out of a game. From a reliable source, I have heard that those two legs are way way tougher than people think. He kicks you and only then you’ll realise how tough and strong those two legs are, so this perception that he could be kicked out of a game is very wrong. Looking at how easily he rides those tackles and keeps driving forward with ease makes me realise that those legs can cope with dirty tactics.
