20 goals for a season is good.. 21-30 goals, that's great.. And very few player can score 30-40.. And Messi beyond that all..

yep everything u said and, the record for most goals in a premier league season is 32 (salah) the most in a serie a season is 36 (higuain) the most in a bundesliga season is 41 (lewandowski) and the most in a ligue 1 season is 44 (skoblar) and messi scored 59 individual goals in a single la liga season, that's nothing short of out of this world, 38 games, 59 goals that's an average of 1.6 goals per game, unreal.

Both of them had good teams. FC Barcelona's Treble runs, that team was definitely one of the greatest team. Ronaldo's team just seems worse than them but in truth they're good aswell, their quality was Gold not a Diamond like Barca's.

The Hat Trick against Columbia, they needed a goal difference of 2 to make it through, not just winning because there was another game happening at the same time and the other game had scored. They only needed 1 goal before the game, but the goal difference made the difference 2 goals needed to enter the world cup. It was Columbia's home ground and Argentina had never won a game there. There's plenty more context behind many of these games.
