A video I really worked hard for. A video that took ages to make and ages to render and upload on KZfaq. About the selection of the goals; it wasn't easy at all. It's difficult to chose between 697 goals, and as a huge Messi fan I almost like everyone of them in it's own way. Some criteria I considered were the type of goal, the opponent, the stage of the match, where Leo Messi started his action (the further from goal, the more incredible I find them),... Also Free Kicks are difficult to chose! I could easily make a list of 25 free kick goals who were just incredible. Anyway, enjoy this video and let me know if you liked it!

I find Messis' skills mesmerizing. I don't get bored watching over and over again the goals he makes. Whether its free kicks or facing the whole defense on his own. And to top it off I laugh at how he nutmegs the defense and scores which just cracks me up. I am happy that he finally won the coveted World Cup. Thank you for this amazing video

Number 5 just hits me on such a personal level. I was in the Nou Camp for that goal, it was my first time ever time watching Messi play Live and I have never seen or felt anything thats within the same galaxy to that, it was as if he wasn’t even real it felt like I was watching a God he didn’t seem real it was if he was levitating. I’ve been extremely lucky to watch both him and Cristiano and as much respect as I have for Ronaldo I didn’t feel special in anyway watching him, I knew I was watching a great player but that’s all it felt like Messi on the other hand was an experience I wish everybody who loves football could experience because I know I will never forget that game and every time I’ll see that goal for the rest of my life shivers will be sent down my spine and it will instantly take me back to that moment.

This video really got me emotional. What an absolute beast of a player. Debate? What debate? The debate of who is the GOAT in football was over a long time ago, and anyone who is a pure football fan and has been watching Messi simply knows this to be a fact. No player has ever created all the top stats, while being the best dribbler, best passer, best free-kicker, best scorer, best assist, and all the other bests he was/is ...and he wins the best ever WORLD CUP FINAL against the massive French Champions with the MBAPPE speed and force... a cliff-hanger as ever. ...and they could have scored double the goals, held the ball longer, took many more strikes at the goal... MESSI was the GOAT even before that, long before that... only people who focus on hype more than substance called him a fraud, an average player... The worst being he was born handicapped and went thru hell battling all sorts of health issues thru-out it all. And did you miss the fact that he was fouled excessively, and scored many of his goals with infraction after in fraction perpetrated against him in his runs... only given the advantage by the refs so the play was not interrupted for he might make it... and he did make it in spite of his shirt being pulled, or contact made against him to break his momentum and balance! Larry Bird was quite better than Michael Jordan, in fact Larry Bird is the same class as MESSI!

@@DormantIdeasNIQ as a pele and maradona admirer i totally agree with you. pele and maradona didnt have freekick ability like messi has. they arent good playmaker. i believe messi can play well in every role and position except gk. he can play well as cb too because he know where to run and where to cover. and he is a genius who really know how he wants to play with disadvantages he got. he used to dribble using his speed when he was young but now he playing more like playmaker. no one as genius as him to switch their own gameplay as they were getting old. most of them too depending on coach planning, while messi we know who dictate his own style since in country and club coaches give him as free role.

As a teenager, I lived in Barcelona during the Cruyff years and became a lifelong Barca fan (being from the US, futbol was not very popular). I have watched Messi from afar for more than a decade and am amazed by his bursts off speed, vision, touch, quick feet, left leg, and determination. Lionel Messi is the best player of all time ahead of C.Ronaldo, Pele, Maradona and all others greatest greats of all time. He is simply magically sensational! When I was a young kid, this is how I pictured myself playing soccer as a shorter guy, the dribbles, finesse, soccer-IQ, vision, and the knack for finding the back of the net. No one else could have done it better than Lionel.

Highest goalscorer of the decade with a ratio of 1 goal per game and the highest assister of the decade with 205 assists and also the best dribbler of the decade with 1820+ dribbles,so sometimes I imagine how can they compare CR7 who only scores tapins to the most complete player Messi

Look, you can make 100 Ronaldos from mediocre talent players. Just have them spend half their lives in the gym, and training to do jump overs, and fill them with the desire to be called number one. Messi comes totally pre fab, all fitted with all the grade AAA qualities ... you can't build another like him, and there is none other like him from what we observe. Nowhere near him.... *who ?!!* Ronaldo himself knows that full well, he's not a dummy.

It's almost as if Messi is not even human when he's on the pitch. His speed, agility, and ball control are just too much for any defender to handle. He seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to finding space and creating opportunities for himself and his teammates. No matter who he's up against, Messi always seems to find a way to shine and make an impact. It's no wonder he's widely considered one of the greatest footballers of all time - he's simply an alien when it comes to his skills and ability on the pitch.

Thank you for making the video I always wanted to see. Almost all other "Messi goal's" videos out there only include up to 50 and generally do not include clear slow motion repetitions or any replays at all. PLUS, they ruin in it with bad soundtracks and editing out completely actual commentary and crowd sounds - hearing the commentary and the crowd noise is what it is all about! Thanks again, and great quality job on this video.

I remember being shown some local football in Norway as a kid. I thougt the game was boring. Then i visited my grandfather who was living in Spain at the time. He shoved me a game at the TV, it was 2003. Barca vs Real. I was 7 years old, and blown away. All i talked about after was Barca and Ronaldinho. I remember arguing with a team mate at football practice, we both wanted to be nr 19 after Messi. It Was 2005. I remember i had to sneak downstairs to use the family computer to stream the games, and watch them without sound. I remember being at Camp Nou in 2019 and se him score a wonder goal against Manchester United. Thank you Messi, and thank you Barca. I wil carry you in my heart forever!

Messi 2010-12 was absolutely unplayable. Best ever by a distance.
