Always thought this was the best messi season. It was the best combination of dribbling, finishing, passing he ever had imo.

This for me his most perfect season in term of his play style his play style was still very fast and intense but he was too experienced that we started to see that as well as he is prolific goal scorer he's also an elite playmaker ..

5:34 ( right at half time ) is why cristiano ronaldo will never be as good as Messi.On top of that he scores 4mins(6:59) later and finishes the game off with a hattrick 11:20 .Any one who even thinks Ronaldo is on the same level as Messi or better doesn't really watch football.. what a world class performence from a world class player 🤩 .. this team had so much charcter , xavi , alves ,mascherano i think that's what is missing now , Messi has always been carrying the team but the difference there were others who steped up when it matters not like now
