But Argentina was bigger than Germany during the match. If you considerate the dangerous that Argentine took to German the discrepancy is notorious. Unfortunately, the chances created by Argentina weren't well enjoyed but in the end, clearly Argentina was better. You see that the romantism we have about European selections is a problem. Argentina was dominating. I'm Brazilian and I understand perfectly that Argentina could beat German.

Good you have recovered after 3rd WC win in 2022. In 2014 we were the luckier team. Two years ago by far the most ( I think almost all) German fans were strictly on Argentina‘s side and so was I. Aguero injured, tevez not called,di maria injured, dybala not called..and our midfielfd lacked talent to create oportunities for messi to be 1vs1. We reached that finals with pure tactics and key goals. Sadly higuain failed, messi had one chance and palacio..that guy didnt even had to be there, that was tevez/pastore/ diego milito place, trash player. Imagine gago macherano banega messi tevez lavezzi...that would be so much better to play a final.

aguero was trash in this match along with hinguan and palacio offcourse, so many times messi was waiting for him to make a well timed run, each time he failed, if argentina had dimaria this match, messi would have created one chance for him and it would have been a goal.

As fan of both Germany and Messi I have to say that Germany really deserved to win the World Cup. They reached the semis for four consecutive world cups, trashed Portugal 4-0, beat France 1-0 and trashed the host Brazil 7-1. Messi was amazing as always, but I felt Germany's team was much more complete. However, Messi accomplished his dream in 2022 and everything ended well. :)

I think it's important to know how young Messi developed and became the greatest of all time. So yes, some of his performances in my recent videos are not spectacular, but they help show Messi's rise to fame - it did not happen overnight.
