La course de côte reste un sport dangereux, elle nous l'a rappelé aujourd'hui avec la perte d'un pilote du calibre de Lionel.Il a rejoint le panthéon des pilotes illustres de la course de côte. Il nous manque déjà... ;(

@SKELFER911 Died in this very same track, August 15, 2010, in the same car. 2010's St Ursanne-Les Rangiers hilclimb race was plagued by wet weather. After the fastest point of the track where he reached 250-260 km/h, Regal's Reynard-Mugen Honda Formula Nippon aquaplanned due to water staying on the road, in that 0:51 corner. The car then span, slammed trees and disintegrated. I think he died instantly.

Il est sorti au niveau du lieu dit " Petit Malrang" juste après la section la plus rapide de la piste, si ma mémoire est bonne. Près du poste de commissaires numéro 18.

@ouaisetalors Il serait passé par dessus les glissières, alors ? car le gauche à 1:02 est muni de barrières. Et j'ai pas beaucoup de précisions sur le crash si ce n'est qu'il a tapé des arbres.

Selon les dernières infos que j'ai eu par un ami qui fait de la course de côte et qui a connu Lionel il aurait fait plusieurs aquaplanings avant de percuter un arbre ce qui aurait découper la cellule de survie et on l'aurais retrouvé couché à même la route sanglé dans son baquet après je ne suis pas catégorique dans ce que je raconte du coup je continue de rechercher des infos et si jamais j'ai quelque chose j'en ferais part.
